Since I never kept a copy of the signature I used to have on the old C&G, I don't have one here now to display. Anyone with skill willing to come to my aid? I'll try to provide you with what I would like (pictures) if you want me to.

Two year later I'm still waiting for a 5th gen. Camaro. When I opened up my copy of R&T and saw this I almost fell out of my Chair. I was working at Chevrolet of Lowell at the time as a salesman. I took it as a sign that within a few months, or certainly a year a ground up 5th gen. retro-69 Camaro would be hitting the streets. Meantime here it is Sept. 2005 and still nothing. Thank You Ramones. :)

My buddy Ray Buck is traveling to Iowa next weekend ... and a bunch of us are going to meet up for a Sunday afternoon gathering: "What started out as me and me darlin bride delivering the Nova and the Camaro to Jim in Waterloo, Iowa has sorta snowballed...and for the time being, we're planning a get-together at the Mississippi River Museum in Dubuque, Ia on Sunday the 18th of September at 1:30 pm til ???? I've contacted the museum and tentatively, we don't think there should be any problems with parking. I'll know more on Monday. I'll also be bringing the "Hello, my name is..." lapel tags. Hope to see ya there, Ray"

Here's something you don't see everyday; a new car company called Fisker Coachbuild based out of Newport Beach, California will build the Tramonto, a $250,000 supercar. The company is owned by Henrik Fisker, former Aston Martin design chief, and the 710-hp car will be limited to about 150 units. This thing is increadibly cool looking. Pics

Maybe I'm one of the only ones, but I enjoy cruises that include _driving_ ... not just sitting & walking around looking at parked cars. The Sunday I returned from my road trip to the Eastern states (August 21), I attended the Elgin National Road Race Show, which included a "lap" that followed the old Elgin National Road Race. With that in mind...& knowing that high gas prices will be a factor, is anyone interested in doing a "weekend cruise" of sorts...? We'd drive a scenic route. One is in Illinois [I can plan routes for WI & IN/MI if anyone is interested]...people can meet up with us anywhere along the way... * IL RT 20 …

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Delta Air Lines Inc. (NYSE:DAL - news) and Northwest Airlines Corp.(Nasdaq:NWAC - news) filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Wednesday, according to court documents. Delta, the No. 3 U.S. airline, which earlier this year said it did not have enough cash to meet its liquidity needs in 2005, filed for protection in U.S. bankruptcy court in the Southern District of New York. "The action we have taken is a necessary and responsible step to preserve Delta's value for our creditors, customers, employees, business partners and other stakeholders," said Delta Chief Executive Gerald Grinstein in a release. Who knows where this topic may go, but let's play with it anyway.... When it came to cars and how I looked at them, these were the following weird thoughts that came to mind: -Until at least 88, I didn't understand that new cars replaced older versions of the same nameplate. I basically figured all these different looks of cars were still being built alongside one another. For instance: The Nissan Hardbody came out in 1986. I thought it was a bigger truck, or some truck made of different metal or something. I figured the older version was still available new at the dealer and that you still had a choice. I also thought the first-gen F-body was the "co…

This is something that Nick would post (no offense dude, I don't mean it in a bad way.. if I did, I wouldn't post this!) and I'm lost too. About 2 or so years ago I liked this girl, Katie, quite a bit. Her cousin's family (she's real close to her cousin's family) and mine were cool with each other and hung out. Well, I hooked up with Katie. It was a bad relationship all because I had no idea what I was doing as a boyfriend. I didn't call, hang out with her, or anything. I was terrible and I admit it to this day to anybody.…

dont know if it will work though Gas Prices TOOOOO HIGH IT HAS BEEN CALCULATED THAT IF EVERYONE IN THE UNITED STATES DID NOT PURCHASE A DROP OF GASOLINE FOR ONE DAY AND ALL AT THE SAME TIME, THE OIL COMPANIES WOULD CHOKE ON THEIR STOCKPILES. AT THE SAME TIME IT WOULD HIT THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY WITH A NET LOSS OF OVER 4.6 BILLION DOLLARS WHICH AFFECTS THE BOTTOM LINES OF THE OIL COMPANIES. THEREFORE SEPTEMBER 1ST HAS BEEN FORMALLY DECLARED "STICK IT UP THEIR @$$ " DAY AND THE PEOPLE OF THIS NATION SHOULD NOT BUY A SINGLE DROP OF GASOLINE THAT DAY. Hey, I was wondering if I could get some advice from any lawyer/car-dealer-type people on here. I bought my car in March of this year - see the pic below, as it accurately depicts the car right after I got it. I got a ticket over the weekend because the tint on the front windows is too dark. It's a 35% tint, and according to the officer who pulled me over (really nice guy, BTW. Nothing against him), state law limits tint on the front passenger-side windows to no more than 25%. I bought this car used, but the tint was on the windows when I got it from the dealer. Aren't they under obligation not to sell a car that's illegal to drive on MO streets? I ha…

Find the man among the beans (EDIT: look for a head). Can you find the man within 3 seconds? According to medical experiments: If you can find the Man's Head within 3 seconds, your right brain is more developed than normal people. If you can find the Man's Head within 1 minute, your right brain is developed normally. If you can find the Man's Head within 1-3 mintues, your right brain is slow in reacting, you should eat more meat protein. If you can find the Man's Head in 3 minutes or more, your right brain is a disaster... extremely slow in reacting, the brain is losing it's ability to perform normally. ______________________________…

I was walking to my 12:40 class today when I noticed green clouds moving in a swirling motion. I got to my class just as the wind was starting to pick up and the rain was beginning. A few people were behind me and I tried holding the door open but the wind was so strong that it kept blowing shut. I was out and about today and did a walk-about through some dealerships. Here are my impressions: 1. Nissan Skyline: as I was walking across street to the dealership, this car comes up to the stop sign looking like nothing more than a garden variety Nissan from the past. I glanced up and see someone in the 'passenger seat' and for a split second, thought, hell, there's no one driving that thing, no one in the 'driver's seat'. I had to chuckle, it was a right-hand driver, probably imported from Japan directly. I then realized it was a Skyline. 2. Am I the only smartass on the roads? I like to... make super wide turns in my truck at intersections... like it's a Kenworth or something, just to see the look on ppl's faces. I also like to pass someone reallllly slowly sometimes... Say the speed limit is 55 and they're going 50, I pass them at 51.5 mph. It's fun to act like I'm really gripping the wheel when I pass like I'm going about 95 mph. Anyone else have any fun on the roads?

Here are some photos of a couple of product lines that were taken (not by me) in an Australian auto parts store. I thought you guys would appreciate the honesty and humor that went into the selection of the product names.

For the weekend. I'll be camping 2 miles away at the Knox Dale Fireman's Homecoming all weekend. Activities include: ATVing, drinking, partying, camping, softball, volleyball, demolition derby, games, contests, eating, more partying and more drinking. After I drop my bro off for practice, I'm heading over to my grandparent's place to help bring the camper and supplies over, then setting up the camper and my tent over there, and finally walking the 2 miles back home to ride my 300EX over. This year seems like it will be boring... as there arent as many activities as there has been in the past. I'll make sure to take some pics... including drunk pics. …

Alright guys, I know at the old site we had a long section of someone's ride taken up with just automotive photography questions. I've created this topic to keep from getting to that. My guidelines (please disagree; add some) 1. Use the rule of thirds. divide the viewfinder mentally into 9 equal sections, at the intersection of the lines dividing it, thats where the focus should go 2. Make sure the car is going into the picture. if you are taking a pic of a car, make sure the car isnt on its way out of the picture, make it look like its coming into the picture and towards you 3. Try to use dramatic lighting, taking pictures at …

Well we know at this point that Saturn, Chevy Trucks and GMC are getting hybrid models. Who else in GM should get a model with hybrid? It would be nice to see a Cobalt hybrid that can take out the Prius and Civic Hybrids in seconds.

As some of you may already know, I'm looking to replace the stock 16" six-spoke rims on my IS300 (which aren't in the best shape to begin with) with the more attractive (but still stock) 17" five spoke rims. The replacements in question come in silver, graphite, and chrome finishes. I'm interested in the latter two (the graphite finish in particular looks great with my car's color, charcoal grey). I've always loved the look of the five-spoke IS300 rims, which became standard in '02 (mine's an '01 <_<), as they fit the car perfectly. My question is whether you guys think it'd be worth spending money on rims that'…

Hey everyone, a few of my friends and I are tyring to get an auto club started up at school and we were thinking it would be really cool if we had a small forum type website where we could just talk about cars. Can any of the admin or anyone else in here give me some tips on how to go about that?

I Think I May Finally Have A Car...

Well, I think I have finally found a car. A solid example of a 1980 Pontiac Trans Am. It definitly needs some attention and restoration, but for $3,500 it is a nice, rust-free example. I don't have any photos, but if I buy it I will have a few. The T/A has less than 100,000 miles, no rust, but needs some new trim, paint, and interior work. But it does run and will get me to and from school and work, which I will have by November. The engine is a 305, which I think - correct me if I'm wrong - is the incorrect motor for this car. I think the offer I'll put out there will be an even $2,500. The color? Oh, red. Yeah, no way in hell am I putting a CB rad…

So there is a thread asking where the other countries are as far as hurricane support. Other countries? Where the hell were we? Finally today, after 4 days of reeeeeally bad conditions, federal help in the form of Nat’l guard convoys with food and water start flowing in. Areas have literally be reduced the status of third world countries and it took 4 days. People really are dying in the streets. Does this administration plan anything at all? How many days were meteorologists saying one of the biggest storms of all time is coming? Logic would tell you that you’d want to have responders staged and ready to go. OK so that wasn’t done. People asked today “what took you so l…

This has got to be the worst natural disaster in history, forget the Tsunami's and where are these other countries? Where are the celebrities? This makes me sick. Watching this on TV, yet no country, nor any celebrity coming forward with a donation, or pledge to raise money. I'm about ready to start the C&G Donation working with the American Red Cross. It's the least I can do watching this terrible disaster on TV.

Gran Truismo 5 looks to provide a truly GT racing experience, right down to pitting for fuel and tires. I can't wait to get my hands on this game! Who here is looking forward to the new PS3 and the new GT5 game? Gran Turismo 5 Preview

A major American metropolis has been decimated. Water is up to and beyond 20 feet deep in some places, and most of that water won't naturally receed since New Orleans sits seven feet below sea level on a marsh. Lawlessness reigns in many parts of the area with rescuers in boats and helicopters being shot at. Tourists trying to find shelter are being beaten and mugged. Those sheltered in New Orleans' convention center are also being beaten and raped. The police chief of the city said teams of his men have been beaten back. Numbers of National Guardsmen are down because many units are deployed - guess where? - in Iraq and Afghanistan. Good thing they're…
