One of these GMC Motor Homes has been on my automotive bucket list since 1982, when I followed one belonging to one of the motor racing teams that had just left the Le Mans 24 hour motor race, and was cutting through the traffic on the French Motorway like a sports car.
This one popped up at the right price on Facebook market place, about a month ago, and I had to have it. Cost me CAD$12,000, but fetching it from New Brunswick and bringing it home to Nova Scotia on the Ferry across the Bay of Fundy added about $1,000 by the time the additional cost of taking our car over and back on the ferry, to do the pickup.
Oldsmobile 455 has done 6000 miles since a total rebuild, and it runs nice.
The exterior and interior are OK, but they show the results of many home handymen doing upgrades since it rolled of GMC's production line in November 1973. It's a non-original Silver (came out of the factory in White), and we plan to repaint it in the the correct for the year colour of Pineapple Yellow.
