    Coming Soon, A Ferrari Hybrid

Ferrari's replacement for the Enzo supercar will be the prancing horse's first hybrid.

"We are entering the market with our Formula One-derived hybrid system, which will slash fuel consumption and increase performance," said Ferrari CEO Amedeo Felisa.

The hybrid system, called HY-KERS, improves fuel consumption by 40% while slashing the time it takes to accelerate from 0 to 124 MPH by 3 seconds compared with a Ferrari model without the system in testing.

Ferrari says the system will add about 265 pounds to a car. To help offset the addition, Ferrari will cut more weight out and use more carbon fiber.

    • Astute. I don't think I would have been an American citizen as a child according to the current school of thought.  Wait.  Maybe they'll cherrypick and give Europeans a pass and give kids of parents from those s-hole country a thumbs down.  It seems that things run on favoritism rather than on fairness.
    • Imperial for the wanna be Imperialist Dicatator since I see the Idiot47 sign in the background. LOL
    • Had I known you, I would have bought that 260 from you!  Quietest domestic V8 I have ever heard when the exhaust is newer ... as in amazing. Also, being a debored 350 meant bigger cooling jackets within. I'm going to say your 307 was Olds and not Chevrolet, and maybe from a so-equipped Cadillac hearse.  The small block fit should be interchangeable. Beautiful table.  That must give you both satisfaction and relaxation from this hobby.
    • The crew I work with... How cold it is in Ohio   Words matter.
    • A buddy of mine drove Golf Rs for years--had ones each of the last two generations...was always raving about it... but he got married a couple years ago, now has two big dogs so traded the R on a Subaru Outback...he's miserable the last time I talked to him--misses his zoom zoom car and lots of other things...
