    Mini Lineup Possibilities Include Sedan, Wagon, & Van

    Last year, we reported on Mini growing their lineup to ten vehicles within the next few years. Mini currently has six vehicles on sale; the hardtop, convertible, Clubman, Countryman, coupe, and now arriving Roadster. A seventh model, a production version of the Paceman concept will be shown sometime in 2013.

    Now, Automotive News has learned about three new Minis that could reach the goal of ten. First up is a Mini station wagon (think a longer version of the Clubman). The wagon will use BMW’s new FWD platform and premiere alongside the new second-generation MINI Cooper hardtop in 2014. Next up is the Mini van; that will use the Countryman’s platform and come out sometime after the wagon.

    Finally, there is talk about a Mini sedan. The sedan is being considered for the Chinese market. This is causing a commotion at Mini HQ.

    "The Mini sedan is now being hotly debated," a source said.

    Intersting, sounds like BMW Mini plans could be what would take care of their global needs without diluting their luxury brand BMW and would take care of needing to consider purchasing a car company like Mazda.

      Ding - ding - ding I've been to Hot Springs, Arkansas.  What a cool place with an interesting history, complete with gangsters.  There's a scenic viewpoint you can drive up to for a view over the town as well as that other tower in the town you can go to the top of for a 360 degree view for a little bit of coin. It was on a Missouri trip that looped into and out of STL during the pandemic and fall colors.  I wasn't expecting Arkansas to be as beautiful as it is.  I came into its NW border from south of Branson, MO.  Eureka Springs was a cool hippie-dippy town with the usual coffeehouses and gift shops.  It's the location of the nondenominational architecturally unique Throrncrown Chapel. Stunning places and views at Mount Magazine State Park as well as a precipice you have to drive down a graded dirt road to get to its parking lot:  Hawksbill Crag.  I was going to turn back, but I'm glad I went ahead with it. Very nice photo of you two!

      Ornamental Metals museum, Memphis. My apologies if any of these are repeat photos. I had a great time.    Sign of the times.  Ethiopian Food in Memphis, because why eat BBQ in a city famous for it?   Cool stuff everywhere, stumbled on this in Nashville, another amazing city we visited. I love Nashville.
