Porsche Reports February 2015 Sales

  • U.S. Porsche dealers sell 3,202 vehicles in February

ATLANTA, March 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor in the United States of Porsche 918 Spyder, 911, Boxster and Cayman sports cars, Macan and Cayenne SUVs, and the Panamera four-door sports sedan line-up, today announced February 2015 sales of 3,202 vehicles, down 30 vehicles compared to February 2014. Vehicle supply was adversely affected by the west coast port dispute and inclement weather in many areas. PCNA sales remain 12.8 percent higher year-to-date compared to the same period last year.

Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle sales in the U.S. were 953 for February 2015, an increase of 13.32 percent from February 2014. Year to date, Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle sales total 1,980, an increase of 21.4 percent over the same period last year.

Solid but interesting to see them blame the fall on the west coast port strike. I say the sales people failed to sell what they had since they seem to have plenty of stock on hand.
