  1. Wow, it will be interesting to see how many of these they sell.
  2. +1 I just built two office machines. $395 including shipping for each, and that was with a nice 17" Samsung LCD and Logitech keyboard/mouse. Dell's equivalent would be about $620 + shipping (with 15" LCD), and have a slower CPU. That and my latest personal upgrade just this week, Athlon X2 3600+ Brisbane core and G.Skill DDR2-800 2gb. Should overclock to 2.8ghz at least! Newegg's prices, service, and website, are all top notch, which is why I've been using them for over 5 years (my first PC was a Duron 800mhz with Geforce 2 ti, man it was fast!).
  3. This is the key. They are testing the seats themselves in a simulated 20mph crash. They aren't actually crashing the vehicles themselves. So in the real world, the results will be different, and might differ greatly.
  4. If I buy this will it make me a good golfer?
  5. Yes! Why? Because Toyota is the one who says: "we operate under a global earth charter that promotes environmental responsibility throughout our entire company" Expanding into a crowded full size truck segment, for the sole benefit of increasing market share and profits, is not being environmentally responsible. Toyota didn't join the full size truck market to show GM, Ford, Dodge, and Nissan that they can build a truck that can do everything theirs can but be more environmentally friendly at the same time. No, they joined it so they can become number 1.
  6. Niiice! I hope the banner got lots of attention. Gotta love Toyota: I don't seem to recall any fuel economy improving advancements in their new Tundra. Or maybe they were only concerned with having the most horsepower? Tundra 4.0L V6 2WD 17/20 Sierra 4.3L V6 2WD 17/21 Tundra 4.7L V8 2WD 15/18 Sierra 4.8L V8 2WD 16/20 Sierra 5.3L V8 2WD 16/22 (Active Fuel Management) Tundra 5.7L V8 2WD 16/20 Sierra 6.0L V8 2WD 15/19 Tundra 4.7L V8 4WD 15/18 Sierra 4.8L V8 4WD 15/19 Sierra 5.3L V8 4WD 16/20 (Active Fuel Management) Tundra 5.7L V8 4WD 14/18 Sierra 6.0L V8 4WD 15/19 I can't wait for the new EPA ratings. Currently the Prius is rated to 60 mpg city, which is quite impressive. How could the average consumer, who is ignorant and is accustomed to 30mpg city, not get hooked by that? Once the Prius gets its new rating, of 48mpg or so, it should level the playing field some.
  7. The vehicle looks refined and unoffensive. The design flows well with the rest of the Lexus line up. They did a fairly good job, although I think the rear could have been done a little better.
  8. I just want to add that, as Honda's sales increases, their American production capacity is going to become more and more strained, and they will have to import models such as the Accord, Civic, and CR-V, which would otherwise be built here, to meet demand. This is until they open another U.S. plant.
  9. 538 sales down in Acura is slight, 15,124 sales increase in Honda isn't slight.
  10. I agree, the styling would make a great Toyota Solara! But not so much a GTO.
  11. Does it not recognize the HDD at all or is the data missing/corrupt?
  12. Have you tried connecting the HDD to another computer?
  13. New CR-V sales have been almost 50% higher every month than the previous model since its intro in October (that's 6 months in a row now). Honda must have really increased the size of the 'H' badge to pull that off, huh? :AH-HA_wink:
  14. Honda sales are way up. But Acura is still down slightly. I think they should have kept the RSX on board for one more year, it would have kept sales positive until new TL/TSX/RL/Coupe models arrive.
  15. March 2007 Sales: Honda Motor Co. American Honda Motor Co., Inc., posted the third-best month in history with record March sales of 143,392 Honda and Acura vehicles, a 7.3 percent daily selling rate* increase compared to March, 2006, the company reported today. March also saw record American Honda sales in both car and light-truck segments with car sales surpassing the March 1996 record of 80,117. Year-to-date American Honda total vehicle sales of 354,208 increased 3.3 percent. "We are on track for another record year in 2007," said Dick Colliver, executive vice president of American Honda. "The continued sales success of Honda light trucks and cars in this period of ever-increasing fuel prices shows the high consumer awareness of our excellent fuel economy across the entire product line." The Honda Division posted its best ever March with sales of 126,406 cars and light trucks, an increase of 9.5 percent over year-ago results. Record March Accord sales of 36,506 reflect an 18.8-percent increase. CR-V sales of 19,658 rose 49.2 percent, helping the division post record March sales of 55,550 trucks, up 2.8 percent over year-ago results. The Pilot also posted record-March sales of 14,339, an increase of 6.6 percent over March, 2006. Honda sold a total of 3,199 hybrid vehicles, including 2,813 Civic Hybrids and 385 Accord Hybrids, a combined increase of 6.7 percent over year-ago results. The Acura Division posted strong March sales of 16,986, with record combined light truck sales of the completely redesigned and all new RDX SUV's. The TL luxury performance sedan was Acura's best-selling model with March sales of 5,769 while the TSX posted near-record sales of 3,232. * Daily selling rate based on 28 selling days in March 2007 and 27 selling days in March 2006 Press Release

    Subaru B9

Much more pleasing to the eyes, although completely bland now.
  17. What is going on with the wheel gap? Is the back right wheel on the curb? It doesn't look like it.
  18. That's a huge number. Doesn't seem like a big deal though, all subcompacts in Asia.
  19. Because you have to run a car at max hp to get around the city?
  20. On the contrary, the CSX uses the JDM bumpers/lights.
  21. Press Release Photo Gallery From what I've read, this CTR is as fast or faster than an S2000 around the track. Now if only they would bring it over here.
  22. The front looks very bold and strong, much better than the current one.
  23. In addition to the soft suspension, the problem with the RL is the tall gearing (and the lack of a 6 speed auto). I think Acura should make a base trim FWD RL, with the soft suspension and gearing. They could lower the price, maybe start it at $42,800 or something. Then offer a Type S trim with stiff suspension, a 6 speed aggressively geared transmission, and SH-AWD. Instead Acura tried to make something that did both, and it doesn't quite work. The AWD system is hindered by the suspension, and the powerful V6 is held back by the transmission.
