  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-hdI1ynVxI Do my ears deceive me? I swear this band is using a distorted banjo (or maybe a banjo playing in behind a distorted guitar?) in the intro/interlude of this song.

  4. I would rather see snow than rain.
  5. "Nipples," said young George to the Mexican Immigrant. The Immigrant looked at George, startled by what he just said. "Que?" said the Immigrant. He understood George, but wanted him not to speak. The Immigrant was beginning to feel uncomfortable around George. "If I had a quarter for all the nipples on this haytruck, I'd be a rich man," George suddenly said, looking at the Immigrant, not caring if he understood. The Immigrant looked at George, stroked his mustache, and then looked out of the back of the truck. He wondered if Americans were all like George, randomly spurting stupid sentences full of mediocre garbage out of their mouths, fat and lazy.
  6. Some say it's round, weighs an infinite amount of pounds, and never makes a sound.
  7. This is getting pretty insane. I now have leads on two more Trans Ams: one is a really nice Calfornia car (that I'm not sure how I'm going to obtain because I know it's going to be out of my price range, although I haven't had a price given to me yet) and the other is an $800 dollar project that needs floor pans but is otherwise complete. And I have been wrong the whole time: these cars are here in KY, and in numbers.
  8. There once was a man from Nantucket whose noun was so long he could verb it.
  9. It's coming down to either the white or blue car. I'm also expecting to sell the Buick here soon, so that just adds to the bank account. Thing is, though, where the white T/A is only $1800, it leaves some money left over that can be used to start fixing what needs to be fixed ... or I can pick up a cheap V6 fourth-gen car for the hell of it.
  10. In regards to the original contest, the Groove actually won over the Beat by a small margin here in the US. Only did our European counterparts prefer the Beat over the Groove. The Trax was the all-around loser, though, according to the rigged poll. And, yes, the fact that the contest was nothing more than a smoke-and-mirrors deal, a pile of BS with an air-freshener slapped on, is quite insulting.
  11. Whales fart in Wales.
  12. "Why?" "What are the intentions of this post?" "Strange." "Bizzare." "Wonder where he's going with this?" "Someone is up too late."
  13. Renegade - Styx

  15. Rumors of such a platform were being discussed ages ago.
  16. If I wanted to butter everyone up, I would have thrown on a mesh a-shirt and brought a few tubs of Land O'Lakes.
  17. New development: http://lexington.craigslist.org/cto/1455983855.html That car is only $1800 now. If it's almost as solid, it's obvious which car I'm going to buy.
  18. Listen and stare directly into the avatar.
  19. That's odd. I can still view both listings for both Blazers.
  20. You could use it as a plow truck this winter, as a DD after that, and restore it in the future. I was also digging around Phily's CG to see what T/As are turning up and found this: http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/1491189600.html I would suggest this, but it's more of a garage queen than a workhorse: http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/ctd/1501349285.html
  21. http://lexington.craigslist.org/cto/1499602757.html One '71 Blazer for a thousand-bucks coming right up. PA and WV are near, right? I think this has potential.

    Hmmm

Lowest mileage vehicle I've ever owned: 100,000 miles (the Sonoma). The guy who sold me the MC/SS told me it had 50-something-thousand original miles, but the title read 150,000 and the odometer stopped working, so I'm always going to think it had 500,000 miles and had been taken on a summer vacation to the moon.
  23. It's already early in the evening and that boy ain't right.
  24. No word on what the drive wheels are? I'm betting that it's front-drive and they said that because they've misplaced their flame-retardant suits.
  25. WHY DIDN'T SOMEONE GIVE ME THIS MEMO?! Seriously, though, there's a better chance of finding a good, rust-free, mechanically sound, cheap just about anything old and European than finding a good, rust-free, mechanically sound, cheap Lancia Beta Coupe. May I suggest one of these? Wait ... damn it.
