  1. Down (The band. Their new album is titled Under the Over. Good stuff.)

  3. I base my claim on what a few owners of the car have told me. Me having a personal experience, though, is and will always be virtually nil because, well, it's just not what I'd buy or desire to take a test drive in. So I suppose having a first-hand experience wins the discussion here and I tip my hat to you. At the moment, I can't offer a rebuttal to the claim, so your one-hundred percent right here as well. Now, if GM built the Astra hybrid diesel they presented at the '05 NAIAS and brought it here as a Saturn, then they'd have something. And the reason why that car isn't being built is beyond me. GME made a bad decision by not building it. Let's hope that concept's concept finds it's way into the NG Astra and the other Delta IIs, as well as most of the Epsilon IIs, Alpha, and a few Zetas or whatever replacement comes after it provided GM makes the right decision and replaces Zeta with another global rear-drive architecture for larger cars.
  4. Now, now. Come down from your cloud, good sir.
  5. But, there is a teacher at my school who had an '04 Prius. Said she didn't go over the 36 mpg mark and could get 39 if she was really lucky and if there was a brisk wind blowing behind her. And the Jetta is going to offer a diesel starting either this year or the next here in The States, so it's a start.
  6. A Prius, if you actually drive it as opposed to just puttering around, doesn't achieve anywhere near 50 mpg. A European compact car with a diesel could put it to great shame.
  7. *shoots self in head*
  8. Corrected.
  9. My, my. I just have to say a word and a whole thread goes off topic. I'm flattered.
  10. Oh, I think we all have a little spot in our hearts for you, Mr. PCS.
  11. Sounds like it's almost time to buy a Porsche.
  12. Meatspin. :rotflmao: I wouldn't find it so funny if forum I used to frequent wasn't hacked into and their version of The Lounge wasn't re-named "Meatspin."
  13. Hey now, don't count me out of this game. :AH-HA_wink: Try going to sleep tonight with that thought in your head Borger. How's a Holden-lovin' son-in-law sound to ya?
  14. rubber (Get your minds out of the gutter!)
  15. Agreed, but your plug sux. Lawl @ teh n00berz. g0 bak 2 noogrndz n00blet.
  16. Don't be surprised if you see a green Millenia or maroon Cutlass stalking you.
  17. Um, big question: are these still going for sticker? Or could you nab one for around ... sixteen grand or so? Just wondering. Also, Northie, the two GTOs in Murfreesboro with sticks are gone. They do have a Phantom Black GTO ... but it has a big downfall: it's an auto. Link. I find it interesting that they refuse to disclose the MSRP.
  18. I can foresee a lot of good coming of this.
  19. "Got Me Wrong" - Alice In Chains Needed to wash away that ... dirty feeling of the last artist's band name. I think I'm going to go on a partial AIC binge for redemption.
  20. "The Kennedy Curse" - Alexisonfire Yeah, that ... is a mighty ... annoying band name. Music is ok, though. I've heard so much worse.
  21. If there is one word in the English language that accurately describes Mr. Josh Oliver, it would have to be douchebag. :rotflmao:
  22. It doesn't bear mentioning, but I'll say it anyway: The GM Source is one of the fattest jokes on the internet. Like a McThunderthighs with a large McCankles meal fat. So fat that, in fact, it has more rolls than a country buffet in rural Georgia. Comments like the one left are deserved. Hell, they should be encouraged.
  23. "Pu$h!" - Tool Really describes my current relationship.
