  1. Doesn't American_Revolution2005 own one of these or a LeSabre similar to it?
  2. Oh, and the Saturn dealer network didn't/doesn't?
  3. ocelot
  4. You did indeed get it perfect that time around. :AH-HA_wink:
  5. So they changed the badge on the front, but not the rear?
  6. Here is to a speedy recovery, Dave.
  7. And quite ignorant too, I might add.
  8. The offer is on the table if you should change your mind. If not, oh well!
  9. There is no question on how my Camaro will appear: Gloss Black with Gold hockey stick stripes.
  10. I see you used my Toyota Tacoma motivational poster in your argument.
  11. Trust me, I've read that infamous Kadett review in Car and Driver. But, the way I see it, in a nutshell Opel sold it's last car here some time ago and is now virtually forgotten to the general car-buying public. There might be a few people around, though, that have a cult-obsession with the GT, but that honestly wasn't a bad car, IMHO. :AH-HA_wink: I still think it rather works against the flow of the line below the beltline. It doesn't look as bad to me as it first did, but I know I would have tried a different approach if I were designing the car. Agreed.
  12. A DTS with Escalade headlamps. Who cares?
  13. I will let you know what fate I've decided for them once I find them, Cort. I could just sell a few and keep others ... And, PCS, I do recall having another GTO card for the 1970 model year. If you want it, if I decide to sell some of these, let me know.
  14. Yet, somehow, we said yes. :AH-HA_wink: Opel builds a good car. No need to hide behind a facade (read: Saturn, Vauxhall).
  15. Sort of anti-climatic if you ask me, it's not like you didn't know what this was going to look like. What's with the hockey stick kink on the door line? That's more of a reversed 2002 Camry cue. All kidding aside, it is an attractive car with only a few design flaws (in my opinion anyway). Now just bring it over here as an Opel instead of a Saturn.
  16. I second this. Keep window-shoppin' man and don't be afraid to try and make the first move and don't let rejection get you down (it's just life's way of preventing you from making a mistake, IMHO). I know I haven't given up on moving on from my last relationship yet, even when I did hit a few snags. When it comes to dating, ya gotta be rough 'n tough.
  17. It's sort of brash for PCS to offer firm answers and absolutist predictions in a time of uncertainty. Then again, being brash and bold is what PCS seems to be about. And that's okay. That's part of his persona here. It's what makes him entertaining to me at least. I'm saying to keep hope for the time being. GM hasn't let the lights go out yet. But keep in mind nothing is guaranteed right now either. That's all I'm going to say and no more. I've spoken my peace and counted to three.
  18. No problem. I am happy to offer the insight.
  19. It's been said countless times, everything at GM is on the table and being looked at. It's really quite hard to give a firm yes or no. Just a friendly disclaimer. However, my gut says Pontiac might still have hope, though. I don't think GM has thrown in the towel for it just yet. :AH-HA_wink:
  20. I thought the air rather reeked of low tide at a Santa Monica pier.
  21. Just when you think it's dead ...
  22. I had Mr. McDonald prepare my breakfast for me this morning.
  23. Buick as the "luxury experience" in between, Pontiac as the "driving experience" in between. Isn't that the way it should be? Oh, as for Saturn, just kill it and rechristen those cars as Opels here in the United States.
  24. Can you guys imagine what a beast a basic Camaro LS with a twin-turbo setup would be? :AH-HA_wink:
