  1. Call 'em and find out.
  2. In Tennessee: a 1985 Oldsmobile Toronado Calliente coupe with just over 95,000 original miles. It needs a new headliner and the engine knocks a little, but it's only $800 bucks. http://knoxville.craigslist.org/ctd/1264453688.html
  3. f@#k GMI. I'm reminded of why I never post there now. So few people actually have the balls to speak up and let their voice be heard. I'm also reminded of why this country is in the horrible shape its in. No one is willing to stand up, think for themselves, and take action to defend what they believe in, no matter what the cause is. Apathy is a cancer.
  4. So much for GMI helping out: http://www.gminsidenews.com/forums/f19/ral...05/#post1796600
  5. I am currently in the process of gathering members both here and at C&G's rival site to rally against GM in light of their recent PR charade about transitioning the G8 to the Caprice. So many GM enthusiasts have begged and pleaded for Zeta's application in North America to be expanded beyond the new Chevrolet Camaro and yet GM continuously ignores us or, at best, makes promises it actually has no intention of delivering on. There was no way the "New GM' could have moved fast enough to actually determine if there was a business case for a new Chevrolet Caprice or Impala based on the Holden Commodore. GM sold so many enthusiasts and former enthusiasts an outright lie. I am no longer supporting GM. It's wrong to support a company that so easily disregards its customers and tries to sell us what they think we should buy. WE ARE THE ONES WHO BUY THEIR PRODUCTS, SO OUR VOICE IS WHAT MATTERS THE MOST. WITHOUT US, GM WOULD HAVE BEEN DEAD YEARS AGO. WE SPOKE UP FOR GM WHEN NO ONE ELSE WOULD. And yet when it comes time for GM to reward us, we are let down. Well, no more. I am asking you all to join me in a constant bombardment of the GM Fastlane blogs with your most harsh, strong, and vocal criticisms of a company that simply will not learn its lesson. The New GM should be far more open-minded than it actually is, and yet the same dampening ignorance persists. The raid of GM Fastlane blogs will begin at 8:00 PM EST tonight. Please, MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD AND DON'T STOP THE FIGHT.
  6. Small, offensively cheap cars are truly evil.
  7. That's all I was saying. Don't put me on the bandwagon too. I stand corrected.
  8. She'll get her due justice; it's only a matter of when and where and, unfortunately, how far along things get.
  9. This has the makings of another American serial killer, and the first female one at that.
  10. Thank ya sir. Well, I won't have a way to see the '71 until next week. I am going to check it out, however. I'm determined to at least try to get that car before someone else snaps it up. Something else I'm thinking about in the back of my mind: http://knoxville.craigslist.org/cto/1244142133.html Cort would hate me.
  11. Beautiful.
  12. Pontiac was good to GM for so many years. Too bad GM wasn't good to Pontiac. Assholes.
  13. I love black and gold together. Those two colors just go hand in hand with one another.
  14. Out with Fritz the Ditz!
  15. Now, ya see ya didn't follow me thur. If one of them there Bible-thumpin' bitches wants it and takes it, she's a whore sent out to take out the Bible-thumpin' bitches by changin' whatcha'uld cawl thur purcept-tin er how they's viewed by people I guess is whaddeye'd whanna say.
  16. I might tell him to hold the dubs and knock another grand off of the price ...
  17. Well, I know I'm going to look at this ASAP, possibly tonight if I can: http://lexington.craigslist.org/cto/1270241297.html As for those gawd-awful rims, I have a complete set of Olds Rally rims I bought for the '72 I can put on it, so problem solved there. If the guy will take $500 less for it, as much as I want another Firebird of any generation, I will go for it, no question, no contest.
  18. And that's the approach I want to take: hit 'em right where it hurts without beating 'em in the face with a lug wrench. There's much more satisfaction in tearing down someone's personal life in a way that they can't recover from rather than causing physical injury which they can recover from. Damn ... am I really that vindictive? That's the plan, man. Like I keep saying, he's going to pay, one way or another. I really do want to try and fix everything that my car needs and needed, and find someone who could do it right, but it's money and time that I really don't have to spend.
  19. Yes and to capture import buyers. Look how that turned out.
  20. Ah, I think my sasquatch legs and blue eyes are better, but I'm modest and won't start a fight around these parts ...
  21. Nah, I wouldn't have went for it. Sending Pontiac further down the spiral would've only served to support negative public perception and the brand's eventual closing. Pontiac shut its doors as a brand that was working to recapture its former glory and I suppose I could settle for that (I shouldn't have to, though).
  22. The constant disappointments concerning future products that lead to all-out apathy.
  23. Thanks Cort. Things honestly haven't been ... peachy for me lately and this is a horrible insult to injury to say the least.
  24. It happened here in Berea. Britton's Chevrolet opened back in the '50s and shut down earlier this year.
