Nice Caddy, GMTG74. This car will be, without a doubt, a collector's item in the future. It does hold the distinction of being the last rear-wheel drive, body-on-frame V8 Cadillac GM made after all. If it was my car, that's what I would do. That, and put a nice, deep tint on the windows. If anything, just please ditch those whitewall tires.

I've always gotten "ENTJ" as my result. I do like the fact that it sums me up as appearing as "intimidating and overpowering" and "not one to be trifled with."

It looks like a softer version of the Soul. As a matter of fact, I think the interior is the same as the Soul's.

66Stang and mustang84 both have great ideas, all of which should be implemented. I think we should organize all ideas pertinent to site improvement into a new thread. I've got quite a few ideas myself.

Yeah, okay, it's not like he hasn't attacked me or anyone else around here. Regardless of whatever positive contributions PCS has made here at C&G, people need to quit treating him like "the golden child." And this wasn't intended as a personal attack, it's just something that's begun to work its way under my skin.

See above. 1. The electronic steering was as numb, unresponsive, sloppy, and lose as Courtney Love. 2. It was always in the service department to have something to do with the steering or front suspension replaced, which made it a complete money pit. 3. The driving position was odd. Thankfully it wasn't too uncomfortable but something about it didn't feel right. 4. The interior had quite a few strange squeaks that I could never figure out the source of.

How could they? You can only sell the same $h! in a different box for so long. I'm sure GM can explain why.

You can't go wrong with Pennzoil Platinum Synthetic. I used it religiously in the Firebird. It's good stuff.

Josh hasn't mattered since the day the consensus here said to shelve him. You'd love GMI then. When you visit there, you are offered the traditional GM Kool-Aid in two sizes, 32 oz. or large (the large requires a trailer in order to carry it), and in two styles, sugar-free and "jacked-the-f@#k-up." For the most part, GMI'ers can't stand any criticism of GM. They always find some sorry excuse to use in GM's defense. That's something we can do: criticize and take the criticism.

Let me clarify on this just a bit: when I say "quality," I mean the level of obtained exclusive content and insider news, keeping the front page fresh (something that has improved recently) with up-to-date news and making it stay that way, granting exclusive privileges, features, and content to all levels of membership, leaving enough reason for guests to keep lurking and join up, and so on. That's all the responsibility of everyone who is responsible for operating the site.

Ah, this is something I've been following for quite a long time now. Good to see I'm not the only one. I downloaded "A Looking In View" last month and wasn't as terribly disappointed like I first thought I would be. DuVall isn't a bad vocalist and his vocals do harmonize with Cantrell's quite well. My only criticism was that the song was slightly too repetitive to run on for seven minutes. The first time I was listening to it, I expected some sort of solo to hit after the four or five minute mark, but was greeted with the chorus again instead. That let me down a little bit. A clip of "Check My Brain" was put up on YouTube a few days back and I checked that out as well. I can tell it's going to be a little more "poppy" than "A Looking In View," but it doesn't sound bad. I do plan on downloading this. I don't know if I can bring myself to actually buy it, though.

It seems that Mr. Oliver is still quite the bitter apple about C&G. He has no room to criticize this site. GMS hasn't taken off like he said it would, now has it? As for returning this site to the level of quality seen in past years, it all comes down to one thing: good, focused management. I have hope that Oldsmoboi can deliver on that. I think it's quite sad that GMI has surpassed us. While I find GMI's layout horribly organized and the member base so massive it's easy to just blend in with the crowd if you aren't a regular, they do have an upper hand on us in that they have far more insiders posting than we do. Whatever insider tips we get are either delivered through PCS (whose credibility is questioned by quite a few people and has a bad tendency to piss off other members here) or hyperv6 (who doesn't post as frequently as he used to) and that's about it. AH-HA waved goodbye to us long ago, evok left after the "V8 will be dead" incident ... the list runs on.

Still trying to work out a new sig. I just wanted something nice and clean to do in the meantime.

You have the right idea, it's just that some of the details are wrong.

At first glance, I hated it. At second glance, I found some appreciation for the organic and fluid appearance of the design. The glasshouse, however, makes the rear of the car look stubby and the low beltline makes the sides of the car appear too tall. It has its strengths but it also has its weaknesses.

Hmm ... I don't know. I can see both Buick and Pontiac traits in the Achieva's roofline. TED, 98, it was my pleasure. I have to admit that I have a new found respect for the Acheiva's design. Smith is right in that it is far less busier than it's other N-Body counterparts. The coupe is downright clean. There's a classic Cutlass quality to the front fascia.
