  1. I'm not that upset. They didn't do as bad a job as I'd expect they would. I bet a shop could clean that up for them, maybe even put a real moonroof in the hole?
  2. That's the expression I'd expect to see on somebody in a food commercial. It's like you were doing a cereal add and this was your face right after you went, "Delicious!". Seriously though, you have somewhat of an 'actor' look. That could be useful.
  3. Yeah, they were old, but at least they were still somewhat competitive. I miss my Lumina in some ways.
  4. Sly... you're keeping me hangin' man. I want my shiny Buick trophy, and the right to lord over Fly. When is #59 coming?
  5. I still like the idea of large sliding doors on a compact.
  6. The long days I definately do. Sometimes, to get some time off later that week I'll work almost 12 hours. However, I never go too much over the 37 and 1/2 hour work week. Longest I've done is about 52 hours a week. Only once last year did I work on any weekend day. Flex hours rock. With programming, it almost never matters what time of day you get something done, just that it's done by a certain day.
  7. Please don't ruin my fantasies about how wonderful Brokeback 2 could be. :AH-HA_wink:
  8. Funny, I've never found my clothes have that much static, no matter what I do... Also, there can be food residue stuck to your dishes, whether you use dish soap or not, plus there can be soap residue stuck there.
  9. Interesting. Where did you find the engine info?
  10. Ummm... no divider? ...and he chopped off the taillights? Sorry, but that's just dumb.
  11. Why was this piece called GM's woes?? Looks pretty good - looks a little too much like the previous 3-series for my liking though.
  12. I don't use anything that I don't see the effects of. I figure, why introduce more chemicals into my life and spend money on products that I can't detect the effects of? Hence, I don't use dryer sheets or dish soap. You can get your dishes clean without dish soap, just scrub harder... plus, soap residue is really bad for you.
  13. Wow... Sorry to hear about the accident but, the fact that you're all sitting around deciding how to fix something so minor tells me you all either have: 1. More money than you know what to do with 2. A lot of vanity Why bother fixing that??
  14. video I just find this funny. I guess diesel would make for a good drifter - you don't have to rev it as high. I can't imagine it's too easy to drift with four back wheels though.
  15. It always puzzled me why the US went to metric for engine displacements. They're a stick in the mud in every other aspect of measurement, but the engines they build and design at home? They'll put that in metric for ya... Side note: The only common places where Canada still is a holdout and uses American measurements is for height and weight of a person, measurements of lumber, and real estate. A person is still known as 6', 170 pds everywhere but their licence. Wood is still sold as 2x4s, 4x4s, etc. My apartment was sold to me as 650 sq. ft. I think pretty much everything else has converted to metric here. Are there any other areas where the US uses metric commonly, besides engine displacement?
  16. I've always liked the Razor and wished they would build it. To me, it always looked more Nissan than Dodge though - and I'm not just saying that because of the colour.
  17. It always amazes me how people forget how to drive every winter. What baffles me more though, is why some people slow down so much in the rain when it's warm. It's not like it reduces traction that much. It drives me f-ing nuts to see the highway slow to a crawl as soon as it starts raining.
  18. The graphic you describe would be excellent for short term planning. You're right. However, I believe that as the world progresses from this point, developing countries such as China and India are only going to get closer to our standard of living. Therefore, making simple graphs such as the one I posted more important in the long term.
  19. I think that graphic pretty much says it all.
  20. I would definately be up for that, theres only one problem.
  21. As for the title of this thread, it's clearly an imposter. This is Roadtrip Grande Maximus if I've ever seen it. :AH-HA_wink:
  22. Thanks! Never noticed this until today, when I saw it in your sig...
  23. This is the traditional type of toilet in China. They're slowly switching to Western toilets. If you've used them since childhood, apparently they're not that bad. For me and my friends when travelling through China though, they were quite awkward. It's unconfortable trying to hold yourself in that position, and you're always worried about the crap ending up in your pants. One of my friends told me she leaned back too far using one and ended up having to scrape it off the floor!
