  1. Yes. It's a first-gen Tiburon that stole the taillights from a second-gen Tiburon, then fell out of the ugly tree and landed trunk-first on all the branches.
  2. No, no it's not... Here it is straight from the horse's mouth, the Vista license agreement:
  3. I can add to that. Here is the lovely towel they left for us in a Hong Kong hotel: Also note the size of the room - that door is against the other wall. The bathrooms there were also lovely, but I didn't take a picture of them. Basically the whole bathroom was a shower stall. Just close the toilet and turn on the shower! Disturbing...
  4. You can only do three hardware upgrades before your purchased Vista license is completely GARBAGE. Sorry, you have to buy Windows again... f--k that. Also, Microsoft remotely controls your system over the internet - if they find any 'questionable' programs, they can delete them without your knowledge or consent! As a software developer I will NEVER switch to Vista until they remove that policy, and my company has said the same.
  5. So take the floppy drive out of any computer and attach it! Floppy drives have been the same for years.
  6. Make a DOS boot disk. Boot the old comp with that in the floppy drive. You should be able to transfer files to the floppy disk, hope you don't have anything big! just use the copy command... cd into the directory and then "copy <files> a:" Remember as well, DOS is not good with file or folder names longer than 8 characters, so "My Documents" gets truncated to "My Doc~1" Good luck...
  7. I never understood why people do that... I mean, it's a publicly displayed number. ANYONE can come up and take pictures of your car and license plate and post them. It's not like a secret number.
  8. I personally never liked this colour, but again, choice is good. You want a hard top? Buy a G6.
  9. Anybody have details on the LS3? HP/TQ? torque curve?
  10. They cheated and they still sucked. Awesome.
  11. So dumb... why would they put the SS badge on at all, if they were just going to cover it up? They wanted to be caught...
  12. Thanks for this article. I just sent it to a friend of mine who is still looking at a Yaris 5-door despite my beg and plea to buy a Honda Fit instead.
  13. Believe it or not, one small car. Yes, I have shopped around, that is the best rate. Some companies wanted to charge me up to $8k.
  14. I'm hoping my bill this August is lower than the $5700 this year.
  15. I have a Kona Nunu. Funny that this topic came up now, I just did a 60 trail race yesterday. Mostly flat trails and gravel roads, but there were some trickier parts and one muddy downhill from hell.
  16. Even though the resemblance is distant, I put mother. My father has much darker skin than me and my mother. It's because he's Ukrainian, but we always joke with him that the mailman was black.
  17. Ontario's had more than 25 years of mismanagement. :AH-HA_wink: One of our four nuclear plants in Ontario was sold to a private company. Nuclear plants are a large investment that has a limited lifespan. Mike Harris, our former premier, leased that nuclear plant to his friend, who started a private company for it. Bruce Power holds the rights to that plant for 25 years, after which time it goes back to the province so that we get to deal with the mess of a dying nuclear plant. Think of it like this - you share in the expense of buying a cab. Your boss then leases it to his friend for 10 years and you recieve back the rusted hunk of crap afterwards. Thanks a lot!
  18. This point is kind of laughable for me. Since when can you haggle at a car dealer? They'll just show you the door (at least in my experience)
  19. Actually BV I didn't know that.Interesting. My father's bike is a rather more unfortunate colour of light blue.
  20. Very close. I gave the answer, see the first post.
  21. Yes. It's all well and good to have nice designs, but it doesn't help you if nobody can afford them.
