  1. YES! Makes the good styling more obvious when you put it like that.
  2. Try out Google Documents. It's not the best, but it's online and free, so it's the easiest one to use anywhere (no installing anything). If that doesn't cut it check out OpenOffice.
  3. In 1997, I was in.. Grade 9 / 10. My father had a '97 Suburban, bought used after about a year of use. It was used to tow a 27' trailer all around North America, so it sure served its purpose. One trip: big trip
  4. Why not? Give it its own forum so that those who do not wish to be possibly offended can stay out.
  5. I buy GM partly because it's the closest I can get to buying Canadian. If a Canadian car company existed and wasn't total crap then I would buy from them.
  6. Looks a lot better than it did in the spy shots. Still not really sure about the huge new Chevy grille. It works better on the Malibu, but even there I think it's a little big.
  7. Response to Toyota's note: I sense your irony. Kiss my ass.
  8. The more Sly posts, the more I start to think he actually is Maddox....
  9. +1 I think that now we are just having a (positive) evolution of '90s design.
  10. I'm not sure if Sylvester realizes he's not the first one to say this... (from Maddox, 2002)
  11. Watching a car auction once with a friend. An old pickup truck comes on the block that has pieces of wood inlaid into its bed - so you could slide items in and not scratch the metal. She sees this and says: "If I ever get a truck, I'm going to get somebody to put wood in my box!" She didn't like it when I told her I'd do it for her.
  12. Holy crap, this one was resurrected from the dead... Still feel the same as I did 2 years ago, see my post above.
  13. Make a tasty looking sandwich but put a little piece of aluminum or tin foil inside like a slice of meat. Just remember to take it out before you eat it.
  14. Do you really think the situation would have played out differently in the US? Would the average bus full of Americans contain a gun? I don't think so. That's not to say there wouldn't be a gun owner on board, but would they have it with them? I think disarming the public is smart personally. Give the police automatics for all I care, they're the police, that's a different story. Handguns should not be legal for the public IMHO.
  15. Most likely to the Caravan (starting at $20k) or other alternatives, maybe the Mazda 5? You only need to look at the comparative prices of the products in Canada for the van prices to make sense. I mean, $17k for an Uplander is peanuts when you consider that the Cobalt starts at $15k.
  16. That's quite good, especially for a one-off.
  17. Yes. In Canada, the American vans are much cheaper than the Japanese. Why so many people buy the GM vans as opposed to the Caravan however, is beyond me.
  18. "They are still the dominant seller in Canada by a wide margin". That's right... we support GM more than the US does sometimes I believe. Anybody have a Canadian market share percentage? I bet it's higher than it is in the US... Although on the flipside, I bet we buy less Fords and Chryslers than the Americans.
  19. I can't understand how there are even people left who will still vote Republican. I really will lose my faith in America if McCain gets in.
  20. Heh... well... not what I meant but take it how you will.
  21. It's a real shame for everyone involved (the auto company and the consumer) that development time is what it is. This car would have been much more meaningful and sold better 3 years ago.
  22. Yes, the high tax bracket may make some rich people leave but... do you really think that all the high paid celebrities are going to leave LA? Not bloody likely... they probably won't notice 1.5% more tax anyways.
  23. Not plowing my ex-girlfriend before she got deported. :AH-HA_wink: Oh well, I have a new girlfriend of about 4 months now, and that's going well. I'm posting my personal life less on here lately because I've been too busy.
