  1. €9billion, not dollars. That's a lot of money. Makes sense seeing as how Opel is well ahead in making efficient cars, in both size and mileage.
  2. Well the S2000 is quite old and in a different price bracket, so it's not all that relevant. The Solstice does desperately need more interior and trunk storage space though.
  3. The automotive industry is very susceptible to economic downturns. Most of the time, people don't buy a new car because the old one is so broken they absolutely must have a new one. When times get tough, people tend to hang on to durable goods like cars because they can make them last a little longer than they were planning. It is for this reason that investing in a durable goods company like GM is risky, but the higher than market returns when times are good make people jump in. Of course, when the market goes down, GM fares even worse.
  4. One can only hope GM Brazil is working overtime on a new, cheap, small truck.
  5. I'm worried about the proportions after seeing this shot: Looks very stubby and strange. The wheels are like donuts. It also looks quite similar to this:
  6. Buick China gets a totally rebadged Aura as a small car, and then the real Lacrosse is wider and longer and better.
  7. Blorf. 6er, SL, XK, or XLR? One of those is not like the other.
  8. Cool, but the Cobalt got pretty dated pretty fast.
  9. Sigma can't do convertibles. Shame.
  10. CSpec

    Geely CE Concept

    Looks Renault-ish, but very good.
  11. Yay Bluetooth! The Cobalt is very long in the tooth.
  12. I keep forgetting the 3500 is still around...
  13. As long as they offer the ridiculous V8 option, this sounds fine and smart. I just hope it's not too heavy.
  14. Yawwwwwwwn. Total lack of innovation and creativity in its design.
  15. Yes, much like the smart roadster targa. I think the lines on this car are beautiful, but I hope that the driving dynamics, interior functionality (usable cupholders, better plastics), and fuel economy are improved.
  16. I think I read that the car's contribution the man's CO2 output is a small percentage anyway. Is this right?
  17. I would bet the farm this is a close-to-production Lacrosse concept. That means its Epsilon II, so FWD and AWD will be the propulsion.
  18. Cool. I hope this isn't heavy and piggish like the VUE.
  19. Um, the front is very trucky and just bizarre. The rest will probably look dated pretty soon, especially the interior.
  20. The first Delta II product -- should be interesting to see its proportions.
  21. Good product overall. I wouldn't be surprised if the NG Suburban and Traverse are one and the same... The headlights have a strange resemblance to the new Focus.
