  1. Why? It's just a long term rental with insurance and maintenance built in. If someone like GM did it at reasonable prices (fat chance) I would get into it. Swap cars twice a year, have an AWD SUV in the winter and a Camaro in the summer. Or if I know I'm going to be doing a lot of hauling, get a truck.
  2. I'd go with the challenger just because I like the bigger car feel. Not the V6 though...
  3. if the costs weren't so high, I'd consider it myself. It's basically like renting a car.
  4. I rarely post non-manufacturer "concept" art... but this was just dead sexy. Cadillac could totally pull this off and make a coupe with actual distinction over something like the CLS or 6-series jellybeans.
  5. Seafoam
  6. DUH! They picked the two markets that are the most import heavy.
  7. it wasn't. It was a local/regional dealer ad. I want to say mid-70s. If I find it, I'll post it.
  8. I'll take $13 billion worth of vapor thanks. Ford Market Cap - $38b Tesla Market Cap - $51b
  9. It's a shame because it's nicer than the LS and 7-series.
  10. This was blatantly stolen and modified from an old Cadillac ad.
  11. someone will buy them... the brand name has more cachet than many legacy brands.
  12. Don't let your last ride be your only ride in a Lincoln..... Come try out a Navigator, Aviator, Nautilus, or Continental today!
  13. Just how irrelevant is 0-60? Over the weekend I was moving about the city in the Encore. Guy pulls around in a Camaro SS with some sort of exhaust upgrade... making all sorts of noise. Light turns green and we're both off. Of course he has a nose ahead of me, but then there is a bus in his lane and I get to keep going while he's on the brakes. I could have been in my Toronado which measures 0-60 with a sundial and the outcome would have been the same. That's what 99% of driving is like.
  14. Cadillac was actually a pretty early adopter of this. I don't know if it was technically a "first" 2008 CTS
  15. "Audi is the Latin translation of horch, from the German verb "horchen", which means "listen!" (compare English "hark")." The Audi A8 Audi.... or translated from Latin to German... the Horch A8 Horch
  16. Excellent pic for the article too
  17. I would like it if they could retract into the dash. On Mazda, that isn't the case.
  18. Na, they're trying to make Alfa into a sexy Italian built to fight Germans on the 'Ring..... an Electric mini-van isn't the way to do that.
  19. It was never a bad car... just unfortunate styling. It is the absolute king of value for Uber drivers since it qualifies for Uber X, Uber XL, and Uber Black.
  20. I want to HAHA, Upvote, and Thanks for this one.... On that lightning lap, the pedestrian Accord 2.0T nothing special about it wasn't even that far behind the RS3
  21. Aside from Mustang, Ford is going to be carless too.
  22. Also, please tell me why you continue to demonstrate this extreme ignorance of the Asian market even though you have been taught why this is the case. There is a huge HUGE social stigma in China against buying Japanese products. The Chinese are holding a grudge.
  23. No one, particularly not the Chinese, care about 500hp in terms of sales. They make such a tiny segment of the sales chart. Someone leasing a 201hp CLA isn't doing it just because there is some 500hp E-class being built for almost no one to buy. Also... Mercedes doesn't have 25 models total... they have 14 at best, not counting their vans. They don't get to quadruple count cars just because it comes in a couple of different door counts. Not counting vans, the only way you get to 25 is by counting cars like the C-Class and E-Class 4 times. C-Class, C-Class Hybrid, C-Class Coupe, C-Class Cabrio. E-Class Sedan, E-Class Wagon, E-Class Coupe, E-Class Cabrio Doing that, I count a total of 27 vehicles at MB USA (again, not counting the vans), but that is cheating. Without double/triple/quadruple counting, it's 14 models total. MB isn't alone in this kind of cheating... BMW likes to count every variant as a "model". No, the 320i, 335i, 340i, M3, and 435i and grand turisimo and wagon and convertible and blah blah blah are not umpteen different models.... It's the 3 series. Done.
  24. Mercedes doesn't make a size class equivalent to the XT4. If you've got $35k to spend on a crossover, your choice is GLA or XT4... not GLC or XT4. And in that regard, the XT4 wins with a roomier interior. The GLA is really just a CLA hatchback on stilts, that's why its so tiny and a poor value.
  25. Genesis is designed by former Audi designer Peter Schreyer.
