  1. That would be the '89 Toronado:
  2. Doesn't matter to me as long as they name the hybrid versions of Buick models "Electra" Lacross Electra Lucurne Electra Enclave Electra
  3. GAaaaH! @ that front end! Tail end is unique.
  4. The 300 may have Grace, but that's only because Dino and Bam Bam won't let her out of the trunk.
  5. There's plenty of Benz, mostly of the E-Class variety, in these large machines. The aluminum five-link rear suspension on all 300s is based on the E-Class design, but the 300 has a wider track and bigger wheels and tires, with a steel cradle in place of the E's aluminum one. Link The new 300C and Dodge Magnum both share the Chrysler LX platform, which features components derived from the previous-generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Such components include the suspension design, front seat frames, wiring harnesses, steering column, the 5-speed automatic's design, and a derivative of the 4-Matic AWD system. Link
  6. I used to work as a network administrator. It was always embarassing having "insufficient dick space".   I frequently type "and" when I ment to type "an".
  7. Cadillac should do what MB is doing in terms of platforms. That is, taking their older platforms, sprucing them up a bit and handing them to the lesser divisions while developing the high tech stuff for itself
  8. I'm not at all appalled. After driving GMs for years, I am very comfortable with "the stalk". The nice thing about the stalk is that I can get in nearly any GM car and everything works the same as the last one. No need to take my eyes off the road when I'm in a GM rental because I know where everything is.
  9. I'll make it easy. I'm about an hour closer to you right now. Still have to catch me first.
  10. Till you wrap yourself around a tree.
  11. gun to the tires
  12. Out of the ordinary: 1985 Oldsmobile Toronado Brougham Caliente. Had every option except the CB radio. Had the "Classic" grill and stainless steel body mouldings. The previous owner had rigged up the rear air suspension to work with a toggle switch under the dash. I could raise and lower the rear end on command. The novelty wore off kind of quickly and after about a year I switched it back to the automatic leveling system. Not out of the ordinary, but somewhat rare: 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible with the 3.4 DOHC
  13. mmmmm faux hawk.... mmmmm </gay homer> I'll catch you in the CTS then. :AH-HA_wink: :AH-HA_wink:
  14. OOooh. Thooose kind of pictures! :AH-HA_wink: :AH-HA_wink: :AH-HA_wink: :AH-HA_wink:
  15. Balthy, I thought that most of those restrictions were for boilers over a certain age. The problem is, very very very few moving boilers have been built in the last 50 years, so all of them are old at this point.
  16. I agree with the Tax loss scenario. The man got into GM. You don't throw this kind of money around for the hell of it.
  17. If that's the case, Cadillac should have just shuffled along behind their walker a little faster to get the Northstar into the Allante'. Then there wouldn't have been any problems.
  18. Except additional weight and complexity. That said, it is still a very interesting idea.
  19. It was a GM Part's bin execution where someone a chainsaw to the back half of a Riviera. GM didn't really have much more then 3800 to fit in there. Couldn't use the Vette V8s, they are RWD. The only step up for a FWD car at the time was the boat anchor 4.1s, 4.5s, and 4.9s over at Caddy. The S/C 3800 wasn't out for a few more years.
  20. Don't have to. I've seen them on e-bay just like the Eldorado convertibles.
  21. Some? With the money Toyota has they can buy the entire automotive journalism industry..... oh.... wait.
  22. Small 2-seater? Sky. XLR if the real estate market is kind enough to me this year. Coupe? GTO or G35coupe Sedan? CTS.... yes it's what I have now Wagon/Hatchback? Malibu Maxx or Subi Legacy SUV? SRX or Rainier Van? Terazza... I really like the interior Truck? I'd wait for a new Escalade EXT Used? 1996 Fleetwood
  23. They took a somewhat bland looking, decent little car and made it look great and gave it a class leading interior. Smash hit for GM.
  24. The "Easter Bunny" used to hide eggs in the ears of my dad's deer head.
  25. You just have sodomy on the brain.
