  1. 68 this is directed at you! The CTS is less then an inch different then the BMW 5-series in both overall length and in wheel base. STOP saying the CTS is a 3-series sized car. You are wrong today and you've been wrong every other time you've posted that "fact".
  2. I think Audi, Volvo, and Acura would like to have a word with you.
  3. Does this mean that Zeta will also be replacing W-body... or will that be more Epsilon II's job?
  4. Yippy... I'll make myself a mayo on white sandwich to celebrate.
  5. I don't think it is fair to compair an 83 Cavalier to a 2003 9-3.
  6. The 5-speed in the CTS is usually smart enough to pick the right gear for you... even when pushing it hard. I would imagin the 6-speed would be similar.
  7. Well the list was obviously written by a heterosexual.... and as representatives of the gay community, it's our job to keep it acurate.
  8. That's what makes it fun! Besides, I don't really like gay people*..... so it's fun to poke fun at them. *even though I am gay people... and I mean gay people in general... the gay people on this site are cool. Doesn't it suck when your P.S. is longer then your original post?
  9. Uh at least 3 of the guys that posted in this thread are openly gay. We're all cool with it.
  10. Pages take fooooooreeeevvvverrrrr to load.... and dance around a lot.
  11. Electra should be a trim level for the eventual hybrids. Hmm... just imagin..... Buick Lacross Electra Buick Lacross Super Electra Buick V'elite Electra
  12. I definately fall into the "no body hardware" crowd.
  13. Honda Element.... just.... no. No trendy gay man would buy one of those. Elements are more for the "nester" type. A trendy gay man would buy a 3-series. The 3-series is even MORE of a status symbol in gay-land. Every young gay guy wants one without knowing why. Some say it's genetic others say it's do to trauma during their youth. I still say it's hogwash and you can choose to not like BMW if they really wanted to. I sometimes think that my ambivilance towards BMW has turned into dislike simply because of the sneers I get from young gay BMW owners <and young gay Jetta owners who wish they could afford a BMW>, when they find out I drive a CTS.
  14. Change "black Jetta" to "Red Passat" and you saw my Chas.
  15. They found the Olds in Ohio, the Benz in Buffalo, NY and Maxima in LA. The Benz was in terrible shape and needed work before they could get it to run. $1400 The Olds was owned by a Dubya Dubya 2 vet and they picked it up for $750. The Maxima had 235k miles on it, but Nissan SoCal gives the car a free going over before the race. $1500 The guys in the Olds won the race/scavanger hunt. All of the cars will be for sale on E-bay starting March 21.
  16. It could be worse, we could get a Buick HRV
  17. OK... so I know it's not the original criteria... but I think I'm going to go for an '07 Avalanche. I really liked the current Avalanche that I test drove* and I think the improvments on the new model are significant enough to wait for it. The selling point for me was the versitility. It is fairly rainy here in PGH so I need something with a cover over the cargo area. I also need to haul appliances, so the cover needs to come off easily <no truck with a cap>. The bed liner is good for hauling dirt and such and I can hose it out when I'm done, <no safari van>. and when I need to haul larger stuff, I can fold the rear seats down. One thing I really liked is that I can fold the rear seats down and still leave the rear glass and bed cover on. This means that I can still haul 8 foot sheets of drywall in the rain. So, I'll let you guys know when I make my move. Thank you for all your advice.
  18. .... and the faint sound of dueling banjos plays softly in the distance......
  19. People complain about the looks of the Lucerne and you guys are going Ga Ga over the Statesman?
  20. Yoi! That think looks like it'd be a bitch to get in and out of. I'm always banging an arm or a leg on the dog leg of my friend's '57 Century with Skew-View windshield. That thing would take your leg *off*!
  21. The GTO makes sense if you think about it. They need it to help make the business case for the Camaro. It's your lucky day guys, you got a two for one special.
  22. Sigma is too small for the DTS. From what I recall, the STS is about as far as Sigma can be stretched.
  23. can we get an increase on the number of e-mails we're allowed in our boxes?
  24. Only 2.5% down during a major series of most popular model change overs while also increasing actual retail sales and descreasing fleet sales.... uh... what's bad there?
