  1. That's no where near as bad as the billboards with a kid on them that shout "Who's my daddy?" and offer DNA testing services that I spotted on the highways outside of St. Louis.
  2. early CTS's could develop a "whine" between 45mph and 55mph that in rare instances could lead to differential meltdown. I've only ever heard of two cases, one of those being exceptional. In all others, the car was taken to a dealer and the diff was swapped out. The one exceptional case of a meltdown I heard of was of a CTS that had it's diff swapped, but the dealer did not fill the diff with the proper oil and total failure occured. CTS-v that have been performance tweeked sometimes need tougher equipment back there.... but that is true of any situation like that.
  3. You guys have it all wrong.... this is obviously a Blue Deville mule.

  10. I mean seriously O.C. is there a GM car out there that you can't find some oddball thing to nitpick about that is often duplicated or similar in foriegn vehicles?

  20. that's only 1mpg difference from my car's rating.
  21. The thing is.... that's pretty much spot on. You *might* get 1 or 2 mpg better.... tops.... if you're gentle. I get that rating exactly in my '04 3.6 Auto. edit: Oh.. congrats and welcome to the club.
  22. Kappa Caddy now! Call it the KLR
  23. aww... why not all three? That'd be the perfect trifecta. It really can't cost all that much more if the technology is already developed. Fuel = E85 At stop = engine off Accelerating = All 8 cylinders on with hybrid assist Decelerating = 4 cylinders off with hybrid regen highway cruise = 4 cylinders off with hybrid assist You could see an avalanche with a fuel mileage of around 25mpg and a gasoline mileage in the 40s when using E85!
  24. Honda's had one good looking car. Great? no, good? yes.
