  6. uh... sorry, without a link I'm calling Lung cancer, asthma, emphesima are all faaaar more epidemic than Liver cirrhosis. and even a worst case alcohol involved scenario, a deadly vehicular accident, will still cost less <financialy> than long term cancer treatment.
  7. regardless, my Cadillac dealer offered to do both for me 3 years ago.
  8. A. Jeep is owned by Chrysler.... and Jeep is one of it's most stable brands. B. Once does not a pattern make. C. Ford and GM lost money to legacy costs. GM had it's best year <in terms of units moved> in something like 20 years in 2005.
  9. Why not just throw yourself in front of a bus and get it over with quicker then? edit: I felt I should be more sensative about this. How about... Why not just throw yourself in front of a bus and get it over with quicker so you don't drive up all our health insurance costs with a lengthy and absurdly expensive for a self induced disease, death.
  10. yeah, the idea is to buy low, sell high. Ford is not going to get much lower than they are now.

and means you're not yet thinking with your head. You need to find out more information about the car first. I'm sure Fly can tell you that first gen Aurora's can be expensive to have work done if they need something. They are a very unique car and can only be serviced a some Cadillac and some former Oldsmobile dealers... often times being one in the same.

Oh yes, so much duller than the Infinities of the day *I purposely didn't include the lower end w-bodies because they weren't competing with Infinity.
  13. I said "around town" didn't I? Usually in the city, if I'm driving a lot downtown, I get about 18mpg. But I have found the glory of the East Busway here in Pitt that puts me in downtown in 30 mins while listening to my iPod and reading a book for the mere price of $60 a month. Now, that means the remainder of my trips are leisure.... and for some reason, on this tank, I'm getting 24mpg and it's 3/4 of the way gone.
  14. but it has completely different driving dynamics compaired to the 3.6. and being in the lighter epsilon platform, it's still pretty fast. and the Saabers like their turbos.

Heck if that's the case, the W-bodies should be broken up into 4-5 different platforms if they used Nissan's method.
  17. Opps, I though that's where I originally put it.

Are you thinking the J30 and the first gen Altima?
  21. O.C. maybe you shouldn't drive it like it's your 'Vette. It sounds like the above poster does about the same as me. My last long distance run returned greater than 28mpg... and I wasn't gentle. Currently around town, I'm doing about 24... don't know how I'm managing that, but still.
  22. One pic of each part.... or ziplock bag of parts.
