They're wrong, it's here already. but anyway, the FWD hybrid transmission is not a BAS. It's a full two mode hybrid just like the one coming in the Tahoe.

I *still* don't get what is so great about a Passat's interior.... and I have to live with one every day. And a Passat 4 against an Aura 3.6? Sorry the Passat's 4 is refined... for a 4cylinder, but an Aura 3.6 will pwn it in refinement.

there is missing info.... the new transmission based hybrid is supposed to work in either FWD or RWD applications. I can't see GM putting out a FWD truck..... they aren't honda afterall....

Personally, I think the BLS will come. If the NG CTS is that much greater of a vehicle than the current one, it should cost more.... which means there is room at the bottom where the BLS could and would slot in. Sell it in AWD only and take on Audi directly.

That's no where near as bad as the billboards with a kid on them that shout "Who's my daddy?" and offer DNA testing services that I spotted on the highways outside of St. Louis.

early CTS's could develop a "whine" between 45mph and 55mph that in rare instances could lead to differential meltdown. I've only ever heard of two cases, one of those being exceptional. In all others, the car was taken to a dealer and the diff was swapped out. The one exceptional case of a meltdown I heard of was of a CTS that had it's diff swapped, but the dealer did not fill the diff with the proper oil and total failure occured. CTS-v that have been performance tweeked sometimes need tougher equipment back there.... but that is true of any situation like that.
