I'm going to make an uneducated guess that 50% of those will be Outlooks selling around Pilot prices... thus the other 50% will be Acadias and Enclaves... both of which will sell at a substantially higher price than even a loaded up Pilot. 150k vehicles at a higher average transaction price than the Pilot is not a bad thing.

Not true. I remember when the CTS-V came out all the bruhaha that was being spewed about the 5.7 not having DOHC and it not being refined enough for a Cadillac or to compete with BMW/Mercedes.

Even the current CTS-V has better numbers than the upcoming IS-F while looking better too.

It's a great way for the Toyota PR department to say: 1. The IS-F is sold out for the year. 2. The IS-F is the most desirable <longest waiting list> premium sport sedan on the market. easier to track the purchasers and give them kid glove treatment and claim 3. Highest owner/driver satisfaction in the premium sport sedan market.

If GM, Ford or Chrysler did profit sharing, it'd be in the form of a pre-filled deposit slip distributed to their workers.

That looks like a GTO with a modified GP front end. In short.... no.

Why? It didn't take long for Honda to start running out of Pilots and they're not exactly known for being an SUV company.

The craptastic Rendezvous + Aztek was good for 80k per year. I think the new triplets will be able to sell at a much higher clip, probably hitting 150k a year while also having higher transaction prices.

Hopefully it has better reliability than the Motorola Razr, but it's a Chrysler product.... so no promises.

Most likely to have a subscription to OnStar? I have AAA, but if I were to need road side assistance in the CTS, I'd be pressing that little blue button I pay $34 a month for.

Shoulda left it a Buick, it'd have more cache that way.

Is it bad for GM that I like this better than the new CTS?

What engine would that use? The 5.3? Sadly, has more power than the N* right now.
