  1. I do want to point out that with the Passat, you can option it almost all the way to 40k. If Saturn tried that we'd be hearing things like "Who'd pay 40k for a Saturn?". then again.... who'd pay 40k for a Passat?
  2. Al Qeda is all over it.....
  3. Don't insult New Jersey like that....
  4. Myself, along with FlyBrian, OCN, Pontiac-Custom, and a few others are the smart asses of the site. Flybrian is king smart ass though.
  5. best move.... just walk away. edit: If you still have anger issues after that... take up boxing or paintball
  6. No you won't, you'll pay $15,000 more for it.
  7. I know... I was being a smart ass.
  8. Well, I assume it's not going to be carburated....
  9. My point is that the technology is out there. The Tesla is a great example of this also.
  10. The part where I post the correct link. Sorry... fixed now to the correct article.
  11. Isn't the TL already one of the largest in it's class?
  12. HP per litre is a superfluous argument. That Honda 2 liter needs to spin to 80,000rpm to make all 200horses. How would that go over in a Buick LaCross which is known for quietness? Not everyone wants to drive a weedwacker.
  13. Buick GNX. :-P also sold as the Chevy Monte Carlo, Pontiac Grand Prix, and Oldsmobile Cutlass
  14. 1. Volt? The mini cooper has a small V2 petrol engine to recharge the batteries. But still, even if you had just two wheels with electric motors, you'd have a car with 320 horsepower and amazingly high MPG. 2. a. I'd suggest a gearbox with a really tall overdrive with a 2.8 litre tuned to make as much of it's torque as possible in the low RPM range so it can loaf around 1700 rpm at 70mph in 6th gear. b. CTS base is 3800lbs c. Toyota Avalon
  15. I'd rather Cadillac be Cadillac. It doesn't need to be anything else.
  16. if it were a Turbo-4, I wouldn't be upset.
  17. Why do they all have to be so hideous? Duesenberg could be the American version of Bugatti. I'd love to see the resurrection of the entire company so I could get myself a Cord 810 or an Auburn boattail.
  18. 1. The Mini cooper has no gears at all. The electric motors are in the hubs of the wheels. Each wheel is a 160hp electric motor. 2. Image. Put a different gearbox in it, tune it for efficiency over power and have a 5-series size car that gets 30mpg+
  19. Boogie woogie woogie
  20. Why does the UAW care what car they're assembling as long as they're assembling something....
  21. 2 issues: 1. How does someone make an 80mpg, 640hp, 932 mile range Mini-cooper, yet GM struggles to bring a 40mpg Malibu to market? 2. Cadillac should have offered the base CTS with a direct injected 2.8 litre that puts out the same HP as the current 3.6 but offers better mileage.
  22. That's a good thing I think. And Aura wagon aimed at the Passat Wagon on the other hand.......
  23. Ask him how many IRL Honda V8s are used in production cars.
