  1. and worth every penny.
  2. And it would be cheaper still to engineer a purpose built convertible first, then throw a hard top over it. Rather than engineering a convertible and a pillared coupe separately. As for the Solara, I believe it is still a chop job. Regular Solaras are sent off to some 3rd party to be converted.
  3. I'm not biased for or against Mazda. I think the current 6 is a fine car and handles well. However, I don't think it or the previews of the new one warrants any "wow! that's hot!" RX-8 - sure that was a wow when new Sky - that's a wow 300c - that's a wow usually in a very good or very bad way Accord - meh Camry - meh Aura - meh, wow only because it came from saturn and took NA car of the year on the first try. yeah... no similarity there..... the difference is the.... hood cut line... and the location of the turn signal inside the headlamp cluster? nor here.... I will give them credit... they did use an Altima cut line for the rear most side windows....
  4. Sorry, it wasn't directed at you specifically..... just the sudden surge of praise for otherwise unremarkable asian cars on a GM fan site.
  5. I'm beginning to think I need to find another GM site. First the Mazda 6 humping... now this. Infiniti M, How are you derivative... let me count the ways: 1. Think fast! Is it a G or an M? 2. Holy Saab Greenhouse Batman! 3. No longer putting that much thought into the clock anymore..... and of course there are the buttons angled up and away from the driver.
  6. OPOOooooooo look how integrated the stereo is in the center stack! I could slip some fly unit from Crutchfield in there no prob!
  7. Money Quote
  8. fixed
  9. Make sure it's money well spent.... $100 million worth of dopey ads is just $100 million worth of dopey ads.
  10. You have got to be kidding me with those decals.... what is this? 1991?
  11. Donked G35 Estate. and why does infiniti insist on angling buttons *away* from the driver? I mean really, even with the leaning forward camera angle of this picture, the buttons are hard to read.
  12. iiiiiii'm gonna leave that one alone....
  13. I'm betting that the Envoy sales have fallen not just because of the Acadia, but because it's a nearly 8 year old truck based SUV in a crossover market. The rest of your points have merit. The CR-V and RAV4 are neither small nor especially fuel efficient anymore though. When I think small SUV I think original Rav4, Tracker, Sportage, original CR-V. RAV-4 is approaching last generation Blazer size.
  14. Once and only once, the cruise control in my Cutlass has some sort of seizure and started accellerating the car gradually. As I was already doing 65 and in traffic, this became a problem. The cruise switch didn't respond, the brakes didn't cancel the the cruise, I ended up putting it in neutral and shutting off the car, but I lost power brakes and power steering. I took a chance and restarted the car while rolling and the cruise let it's grip go...... and it never happened again. No damage was done, but it was one of the scariest driving moments of my life.
  15. Happy birthday you fabulous men you!
  16. sunk cal.... the part that has broken off and fallen into the ocean
  17. "I *am* big. It's the *pictures* that got small."
  18. technologically, no merger has taken place and won't for at *least* two years. I like my XM radio in my Cadillac, I found that the Sirrius in one of my rental cars was very slow to respond to channel changes. That may have been a hardware issue though.
  19. bet the car flys....
  20. bull
  21. The Volt is powered by 200 cans of Red Bull
  22. "get some" in the hookup kinda way.... eh "get some" in the make love sorta way.... probably
