  1. Car and Driver beat the living snot out of that poor car and I feel sorry for whoever the poor sap is who ends up with it. They managed to get the mileage on the Aura Greenline lower than the mileage on the Saturn Vue Greenline with the identical power train.
  2. I'm going to have to extrapolate the hell out of this one, but hear me out. The Malibu hybrid is most likely going to be cheaper than the Aura Greenline. Virtue of being a Chevy. Aura Hybrid bases at 22k so I'll take a stab at the Malibu Hybrid being 21k. Aura Greenline official EPA numbers are 28/35. Assuming the Malibu matches those, you end up with an almost Impala sized sedan for 21k that gets better city mileage than the Camry by a 4mpg and 1mpg better then Camry on the highway <acknowledging that hybrids to better in city over highway>.
  3. oh yeah... well you should check out my engine....
  4. This is a vast right wing conspiracy..... a prius obviously can't go that fast.
  5. The Olds and the Chrysler look ok but the MC is just terrible. I've never noticed it before but the front wheel opening on the MC looks substantially larger than the rear.... maybe that makes it look even worse??
  6. a-duh! It's an Asian car... of course it's not a flop.
  7. + Mariner + Tribute
  8. and the rudder on the titanic cranks drastically to the right.....
  9. There isn't a link back to here... and if it's only coming from one guy it won't cause a site war.
  10. A husband and wife were going at it one night and he asked if he could @#$ in her ear. She said, "NO! I might go deaf!" He replies, "I @#$ in your mouth all the time and you haven't shut up."
  11. I don't have an account there and I have no intention of making one. But post this: "A locking differential is not the same as a limited slip differential. In very low grip situations a locking diff is superior to a limited slip diff is superior to an open diff. The point of this demonstration was to show what Chevy can do in 2-wheel drive while the Tundra requires 4 wheel drive."
  12. The whole point of the video was to show what chevy could do in 2 wheel drive that the Tundra requires 4-wheel drive.. As for: Toyota's had... what 8 months in the full sized market? Get back to us chicky when the bed rattles itself off the back of the truck.
  13. I think I'll go for a walk! I feel happyyyyyy!
  14. I can probably attend
  15. a bit excessive, no?
  16. if none of the concepts ever have a chance to be built in production.... then DON"T waste the money teasing us with the concepts. Put that 2 million into Delta or small trucks, or even to have the $1 worth more leather on the Lucerne so that all seating surfaces are leather covered. Put that $2m into increasing capacity at the 6-speed or HF engine plants Put $2m into advertising. Just don't waste $2m building a concept for a car you won't build to show to people who couldn't buy it even if you built it. There is no reason the skin of the Sixteen couldn't have gone on Sigma... or Zeta
  17. There is no reason the Sixteen skin couldn't be put on a DTS like car. Add a 6speed and appropriate interior <like the SRX and 08 CTS> and watch the people line up.
  18. Well apparently, the center lines of the engine remain in relatively the same place. that's how they did the bengal
  19. I've often wondered why GM couldn't rotate the powertrain 180 degrees on production cars like they did for then bengal
  20. Lets just say I come from an entrepreneurial family....
  21. I see you discovered my new name.....
  22. front overhangs what?
  23. key words
  24. I'm sure that Toyota will have the General beat on cam snappage too. what?!? it's a feature!
  25. Oh me too.... but I'd rather have the new Vue over the Tiquan so I don't have to know my service adviser on first name basis.
