  1. So this guy I'm... uh... spending quality evenings with.... has a Honda Pilot. He likes to brag about how reliable Honda is and tells me I should trade my "unreliable domestic" in on a Ridgeline. This morning I get a call asking for a favor. His Pilot has broken down and could I take him to work. Apparently all the idiot lights came on and he's stuck in limp home mode doing 25mph. Pilot 43,000 miles -limping home with all dash lights lit Avalanche 84,000 miles - oil changes and tires only, taking his ass to work So the day after Thanksgiving, he gets to eat crow. I just hope he likes stuffing with it cause he's gettin that too when I pick him up tonight.
  2. To start... yes. and you're so full of it. The Camry V6 loaded MSRPs at 35k. The 328i bases at 32k. Is that where BMW should be? If not, why are they building the 1-series?
  3. Images can change fast. The first CTS helped and there are a whole bunch of happy 03-07 CTS owners out there that will love to step into an 08. The new CTS doesn't leave the previous generation owners behind but still brings in the new ones too. The new CTS looks fresh and new even though it's an evolution of the previous generation. The 3-series is close enough to the older model that non-car people could get the two confused.
  4. what were you doing in the woods that you now have more than one flat tire?
  5. Zone Alarm + Avast anti-virus FTW
  6. Maliturbu?
  7. Reliability. Are we still going to determine which is better by the 0-60 and skidpad? Because if the BTS comes out with an interior like the CTS and performs at least 8/10ths as well as the 3-series, it's not going to be that difficult of a decision.
  8. given the reaction most non-car people will have when they see it, how about G8 WTF
  9. Is there any car anywhere that is perfect, no excuses? If not, why must Cadillac meet that criteria? I'm ready with my list for anyone who says "3-series", "5-series", or "S-class".
  10. been using it without trouble since I installed it.... I also have IE, FF, and Safari for Windows open on my machine concurently.
  11. you just don't pay attention when I do slam GM for things I don't like.
  12. you managed to insult 2 out of my 4 most favorite cars in one post.
  13. Full width tail lenses with horizontal lines in the lenses no grill and narrow headlamps and and a set of turn signals inset of the headlamps rather than outside, above or below.
  14. look behind any camry from about 1992 on and you'll see that same low hanging exhaust pipe that looks like it's going to clip any speed bump it goes over.
  15. She's a keeper..... and I mean the wife... not the car.... the link isn't working for me.
  16. ah... that might explain it. Still @ GM for not offering it at launch.
  17. after thinking about this a bit more and looking at the option packages.... Chevy really needs to consider adding the Turbo Ecotec engine as an option from the middle of the range on up. I should be able to get a loaded Malibu LTZ turbo. It'd probably help CAFE too....
  18. not that I'm against a positive review, but.... 1. How did he get a car that GM hasn't produced yet? 2. The Passat was the first car with 4 cylinder - 6 speed combo. just putting that out there since we'd be the first to rip an inaccurate Toyota review to shreds.
  19. And a basic illustration of the memory usage differences here.
  20. we know it wasn't you because it wasn't a reported big foot sighting....
  21. Yea, it's completely possible to put so many add-ons into Firefox that it becomes as stable as an elephant on rollerskates. Here a link to an article about FF3
  22. man... pass some of that $h! over here! USDA Grade A Large Egg + Elantra door panels/fenders + Cadillac lights + Cadillac grill = EcoVoyager
  23. With the STS selling like it is, I think they've got the room.
  24. the inevitable results of this thread should be sent to Bob Lutz directly.
