  1. Not exactly a torque curve... more like a torque plateau.
  2. on man! Autoblog actually ran this?
  3. Just pointing this out, the 360hp AWD Chrysler 300c AWD with every option checked is $46,860. $39,000 after discounts and rebates. I'm no fan of the 300c though.... Loaded Charger AWD V8 is $35,187 after discounts. $41,365 MSRP It's not like 68 doesn't have choices.....
  4. LOL thanks! I got a chuckle out of that!
  5. Sixty Eight, The last time I went to the New Hope auto show, I specifically got these shots for you. They were lost on a dead laptop for a while, but I recently recovered them. So here ya go: Ultra rare Lincoln. Aluminum body. Was a barn find. One of a very very small number. This was the best car of the show for multiple reasons.... Hot Packard Buicks Jaguar. Don't know the year, but looks pre-war enough. I have more that you'll like, but they aren't pre-war.
  6. I'm disappointed in you Sixty Eight! That's a replica. Try this:
  7. The Lounge rules are going to be more strictly enforced. Politics is open now.
  8. 1 cylinder diesel? That'll be good for the 'ol NHV.
  9. Well you can if you're cool enough to be a Premium Member.
  10. Gregory House > both of them.
  11. I'm actually surprised it lasted this long. My door handle snapped off somewhere in the 90,000 mile range.
  12. The dealers around me didn't get them (or weren't displaying them) till May..... and I was looking for it.
  13. What do you mean? oh yeah, and clicking the google ads or using the search on the front page and clicking the google ads from the results also helps out.
  14. Wow. Even though it's not, it looks like a Vibe re-do.
  15. They must be growing a good weed crop out in California this year....
  16. They are fairly easy to replace. No re-keying is required. I had to do it on my Cutlass Convertible and I did it in my driveway with very basic tools. You can often find them on Ebay.
  17. Yeah, that is a shame since we're in this booming economy and credit is so easy to get that you can't let your dog wander free for fear it will come home with a mortgage. oh.... wait.... Sales of GM cars (and many other company's) was down about 50% across the board. The G8 sold half of what was predicted. How is this a challenge to your thought process?
  18. While the 1791 Bill of Rights wouldn't have happened without the events of 1776, there was a great amount of debate over which articles to even submit for ratification. None of the amendments were sure things. There were those who wanted controlled arms and some restrictions of press. Let's not enter a debate on the validity of such positions either way because then I have to move this to politics. This is just a history lesson.
  19. oh they run fine now...... as long as I turn the graphics down to Atari 2600 levels.
  20. I like the Ram's looks also, but the point was you can load up an Avalanche more for the same money. Plus with the mid-gate you can get a 8 foot bed when the Ram is limited to 5.7 feet. I haven't tried a new Ram, but the Avalanche was very car like. It's more plush Suburban than HD Silverado. Now these are MSRPs. I see that Dodge has $7,000 off and I don't know what the Avalanche's rebates are, so all bets on final cost are off.
  21. Many people forget that our current form of government didn't start in 1776. It started twelve years later (or 1/2 of the J-body lifespan) in 1788 when New Hampshire ratified the Constitution. The Bill of Rights didn't go into effect until 1791. The Declaration of Independence written and approved in 1776, while one of the most profound documents to ever be written, has no bearing on U.S. law.
  22. If you're looking for a big, comfortable, mall cruiser that can also handle the boat on weekends and the occasional trip to Lowes for topsoil. Avalanche FTW. the as tested price of the Ram is $48,965. You can get an Avalanche LTZ - 1LZ with the 6 liter and basically everything but chrome 20s for that price.
