The Regal Buick Returns!
Wow! That sport chop is HOT! GM is on a roll with me lately. First the CTS wagon and coupe (and the SRX for my partner), then the Terrain or Equinox (for my partner), then the Caprice if it makes it here in civilian form, and then this Regal GS idea. GM, if you build the Regal GS to look like this, you'll officially have at least one vehicle from each division that would be on my shopping list!

What happened to global warming?
The overall global warming that was causing the polar ice caps to melt at a higher rate dumped massive quantities of freshwater into the North Atlantic and ended up shutting down the billion gigawatt heatpump called the Gulf Stream. The effect was substantially cooler temperatures in most of Europe. So yes, I can see why the term "Global Warming" would confuse people. "Global Climate Change" is a more semantically accurate term.

Cadillac quietly un-refreshes logo
Cadillac quietly un-refreshes their logo Cadillac updated their logo in 1999 to coincide with the new Art & Science look. One of the fatalities with that refresh were the ducks which had been part of the logo since at least 1902. With no announcement at all, they've updated it once again. Discussion: Cadillac un-refreshes logo

Talk to Chris Doane about it. I'm sure you'll get a rather emphatic response.

Bob Lutz: GM Is Roaring Back
G3 is dead and the Aveo still sells nicely. It may not have the best overall powertrain, but it does ok and is styled attractively compared to many other small cars. If you want to talk about model missteps that hurt the overall lineup, you can make another thread for the Accord Spirit GT, ZDX, Fridgeline, and RL.

I didn't get many pics this time around because my camera was acting up..... so I concentrated on getting shots of logos and hood ornaments.

Cheers and Gears goes Back to the Futurliner!
Cheers and Gears goes Back to the Futurliner! Hershey, PA - Today I visited the AACA meet in Hershey PA. The last time I managed to get out there was in 2006. In both instances the General Motors Futureliner was there. The first time I visited, I was unable to get up into the cab. This time would be different.

It can be done... (2nd UPDATED w/Brochures and New In the Flesh High Resolution Photos!)
I like the look in the steel wheels on that car. It looks purposeful in a "don't F with me" sorta way.
