  1. Either there was something wrong with the Ecotec they were driving or they are yet another moron that expects electric car smoothness out of everything they drive.
  2. I vote for car A.... but then again I have information not offered in this thread.
  3. Waaaaay too early. If it goes on sale in April 2014 it should be at the January 2014 NAIAS. "Here's the hot new Cadillac ATS....", "oooh ahhh", "And it'll be available in showrooms in just 3 months."
  4. Well, if it's due for production in 2014, we should have seen the concept at this year's NAIAS.
  5. Now that's a BMW that I could get into..... Does it have thirty twelve speaker surround sound?
  6. Are there still plans to sell this in the EU?
  7. I think a very very base LS with the steel wheels and rally stripes would be a blast to have.
  8. GM could make a fully working model of Christ and you'd still complain that the water to wine function only dispenses merlot.
  9. In terms of capability they are all fairly close. In terms of style, the Accord(sedan) and Camry need to go back to the drawing board. The Malibu is doing it's share to help bring GM back. It is selling, retail, at a much higher pace than the previous model. The Accord has gotten too large. It needs to be downsized a bit and Honda add a car above the Accord to go up against Avalon, Maxima, Taurus, and a future Impala.
  10. What's wrong with another CTS?
  11. Discounting the Uplander's other obvious flaws for the moment, I remember the Magz trashing the Uplander's interior. While the Uplander gets no points on style, neither do the Honda nor Toyota. The Uplander's materials, yeah not soft touch, are pretty durable... a must with kids. What is it with these stupidly mounted gear selectors on the mini-vans?! Just make it column shift or pushbutton. Does the gated shifter on the Sienna really make the driver feel that much sportier? Oh yeah, and that gray across the dash of the Odyssey? All hard plastic. Now I'm not saying the Uplander is a better vehicle.... but the Uplander could be had for 20k. Try doing that at the Honda or Toyota dealer and they'd laugh you off the lot.
  12. I get to think that every time I drive the BF's CRV and slam the aluminum foil door or have to rev the engine up to 3,500 to maintain speed up a gradual hill at 65mph. I'm thinking that Honda could have gotten away with putting the Equinox's 3.5 in there, the road noise is loud enough to overpower any of those nasty dirty pushrod sounds.
  13. I have just 3 tabs open. C&G, Google Reader, and a Blogger website that I'm reading. Firefox is using 135meg. Ugh, I'm going to try Safari.
  14. Wear a blue and white rondel? Wear an H in a trapezoid? Not have a b-pillar? Have a dashboard swathed in leather made from the thighs of young Cuban virgins?
  15. I feel the same way about the Odyssey I rented. I got in and thought, "This is what people rave about? Srsly?!"
  16. Considering the average age of the Camry driver, I'd say it's more like the Century/Regal.
  17. I think GTI/Civic buyers are GTI/Civic buyers because there hasn't been anything better they could afford lately. I mean really, didn't the ricer thing majorly take off after the F-bodies died? Sure there have always been people who customized foreign cars, but the crazy "put a a body kit and 747 wing on a car with a 1.6 litre lump of coal" thing didn't start until the late 90s. As for young people buying domestics. Even the Malibu is doing well. I know a 29y/o who is shopping for a replacement for his 250k mile Maxima. Ten months ago, he'd never even consider a domestic, but last week he came to me to ask about the Malibu since he loves the new look.
  18. What that means is that those 450,000 Camries they've been pumping out every year have just lost a lot of value.
  19. unibrow?
  20. fixed that up there for ya. The day GM starts putting VW quality interiors into GMs is the day I stop buying GM. I've lived through that nightmare once already. Oh sure, the airbag cover is soft enough to wipe your hemorrhoids on, but that doesn't mean it'll stay attached to the car. *All actual issues on my ex's Passat between 62k miles and ~85k miles.
  21. PCS, can you add any insight as to why the US didn't get the SLS interior updates and a stretch?
  22. Facebook, Skype, Youtube Video downloader
  23. None of those is nicer than the Camaro. Not being a big fan of this class of car, I don't have a dog in this fight. They all look about equal to me. The VW I posted is the Scirocco, not the CC. The CC, basing at 27k, isn't Camaro competition.
