  1. Buick Regal Buick Lacrosse Buick Lucerne (or Holden based Park Ave) Buick Vue based small SUV Buick Enclave How is that not a winning lineup for Buick?
  2. I always tip at least 20% if the service is as expected. I've been known to tip 30% when the service has been surprisingly good as in the case of this particular Domino's. It's not unusual to have the pizza at my door in 15 minutes with this particular store.
  3. My credit card was in my wallet. This Dominos makes you show them the card when you sign.
  4. I don't know about Papa John's website, but Domino has an order tracking system on theirs that is freakishly acurate as to which step your pizza is at. edit: and the only reason I got off my couch last night was to get my wallet and answer the door.
  5. What if this is footage of the development of the dummies themselves and not actual testing of the cars? You don't really need the newest car available to test the dummy, just something cheap you don't mind cutting up and crashing. That might explain the date and model discrepancy..... also, some of the cars have the initials UCLA stenciled on the side.
  6. yeah, isn't this more likely to be a Chrysler vid? but I know that GM participated in the development of early crash test dummies....
  7. Forget Unibody or BOF.... half the time the seats didn't even stay bolted down!
  8. I'm surprised Pittsburgh isn't on the list, but we have a relatively low crime rate. Still, there is a reason we have one of the premier mental health institutions in the country.
  9. you Camino fans are certainly a unique bunch.
  10. maybe they can supply Saturn dealers.
  11. Woah wait! I missed the part about the Caprice being a 2-door. Definitely get that even if you don't get the ToadSmasher for it's LT-1
  12. I thought Toyota already said they wouldn't be going with Li
  13. 1. Show me a concept car that makes it into production in the original concept form. 2. The price range was always 30k - 40k, yes that's a wide margin, but they said it would be with in that. 3. People are getting 100mpg by hypermilling Pruises, I don't doubt the Volt can do that too. 4. This was always going to be a slow ramp up vehicle with limited availability in the first few years. 5. As always, your mileage may vary.
  14. The Insight (if you mean the first Gen) never moves on electricity alone and uses "traditional" batteries. The Volt runs up to 40 miles on electricity alone and uses lithium ion batteries. AFAIK, no other major manufacturer is using Lith-Ions. The Tesla is just a bunch of Toshiba laptop batteries strung together.
  15. Chevy Volt coasts closer to reality, first bona fide model now in production via Engadget General Motors has just cut the ribbon, metaphorically at least, on the production of the first genuine Chevy Volt integration vehicle. Unlike previous versions, which have been "developments mules" made using parts from the Malibu / Cruze lines, this will look (and hopefully feel) 100 percent like what the company plans to start pimping out this November. The pre-production model will be put through the paces in case the design needs to be refined and tweaked before going full steam ahead. GM is sticking pretty close to its original plan of building at a rate of ten a week by mid-July, with "several hundred more" going into production early next year, and with any luck, it'll be packing some standardized EV plug by then.
  16. option 1 and 3 ? Depending on how bad the Toadsmasher is, drop the LT-1 into the '86.
  17. I much rather it be Ford than Toyota.
  18. I wouldn't tax all of the religious establishments. Just the ones that form PACs and do other political work with money collected from religious donations.
  19. It was deleted twice in fact.... and will be a third time. We have a politics section, but even this wouldn't survive there because it's shoddy, incomplete, and makes hasty conclusions. Stop reposting it in here.
  20. I agree with the SCOCA's ruling while I disagree with the result. Additionally, taking it to the SCOTUS right now is a terrible idea. That said, I am very reluctantly not moving this to the politics forum because the discussion has been civil. Please don't make me regret it.
  21. Can the IMA even turn those wheels?
  22. Why? I'm still seeing big rebates and low interest financing available on them here.
