  1. That ES is sooo upmarket... look how much nicer it is than the Corolla!
  2. In design alone, the ES isn't a hard one to beat. Edit: I've never noticed this before. I like how the wood in the ES just... ends.. 7/8ths of the way through the cup holder lid.
  3. Well the next gen Astra is to be Delta II based along with the Cruze is it not?
  4. There is a dealer in my area making a huge stink about being shut down by Chrysler.. posting billboards and signs all over the place. You'd think they were some top tier dealer pushing out huge volume...... Nope. They are smaller than most new gas stations and they never bothered to take down the Eagle and Plymouth signs. There is still a "Summit Talon Vision" banner right above the "Stop Chrysler from Closing US!!!!" banner. If you go around the side of the building, the AMC logo is still visible. Gee, I wonder why you got closed. I'm gonna get right on that letter to Sen. Spector to launch an investigation.
  5. There is no production line in N.A. that produces the Holden version of Zeta. Apparently, the Camaro was so heavily modified that it can't run down the same line as the G8 (don't know why). There is a production line in N.A. that produces Sigma and it's going to have a good bit of capacity freed up by the SRX moving to a new platform/line. LGR was putting out between 22k and 30k SRXes a year. There is nothing wrong with Sigma and I don't understand this talk that it's aged. It can still out handle and out run an M5 and it took a $110k Porsche to steal the Nurburgring crown the $60k CTS-V held for a year..... something that could be remedied with a $200 supercharger pulley. The Chinese SLS may not pass side impact protections as is... but that doesn't mean that it never can.
  6. Eh, I think if it gets enough "This not your father's Buick/Time to dump your ES330" reviews, it'll do well enough.
  7. Welcome to what I've been posting about for over two years MSN.
  8. I would have zero problem with a Lambda Escalade if it only replaced the SWB model and the EXT and ESV were kept on the truck frames. It would need a new name though.
  9. Except that base model... I hope it's limited to fleet.
  10. I never get tired of posting that pic.
  11. Not for me to drive. It was just a curiosity since I've never seen one before. I thought that if it had some collectability and this guy didn't know what he had I could scoop it up on the cheap, clean it up, and E-bay it. It looks like it just needs a good scrub. It has 71k miles.
  12. 1988 Volvo Bertone 780? There is one sitting at a "Buy Here! Pay Here!" lot near me. I don't think the lot owner knows what he has. It looks just like this:
  13. Today I went to the OCA Nationals meet in Seven Springs, PA. Here is a link to all of my photos, unedited. I'll clean the pics up tomorrow. This has 1100 miles: Finally a GTO I can sink my right foot into! I like it!
  14. Sweet. I wonder how bad that engine knock is and how the rest of the interior is holding up.
  15. Take two G8 grills, Rotate one 90 degrees clock wise rotate the other 90 degrees counter clockwise, slap em on the front. done...... ..... well.. if you're making a Dodge.
  16. What's the L family? Being a Chrysler platform that doesn't turn my head doesn't narrow it down much.
  17. But did we really need 3 different 455s and a 454?
  18. Lincoln Highway isn't limited access.....
  19. If I never offend anyone, you should check for a pulse.
  20. I didn't know the Pennsylvania Turnpike ran all the way to California!!
  21. I'm usually nice while I'm being mean. I'm a miserable old coot and I know it.
