  1. Hmm... I look at those pics and see one car I would own and one I wouldn't. XLR. It is gorgeous and an overall better car than the Vette. Just... for alot more. The STS.. Well, atleast it isn't ugly and totally uncompetitive. The styling is just way too watered down (thanks, Bob), inside and out. That and the interior just isn't what it should be or needs to be. A disappointment, to say the least. I'll take a CTS-v, please.
  2. Damn... that's alot of info. :D Sounds about right, too. One thing I noticed about the pics is that there were taken recently... like roughly a month ago. This is evidenced by a building that burnt down roughly a month ago as it isn't in the pics. Also, it is wierd looking at these pics. Everything looks so similar yet so different. That and I can tell you what every single thing is... Anyways, when will Brookville see its first tourist from C&G? :P
  3. Yeah... This is Brookville. The few that even attempt it would probably be too stupid to find it, anyways. That's if anyone ever tries to steal it... I mean, who would want a Grand Am, huh?   I'm kind of pissed, though. I seem to be having alot of bad luck, lately. First I hit a deer, then my fuel door latch breaks, then I leave my window down and get my interior soad, then this, and I already have another thing... One of my fog lights burned out. WTF? I hate bad luck...
  4. Well... I'll need to get a spare made and then get one of those boxes. Anyways, I finally got it. I took a metal hanger and... well... pushed it through the rubber weather-stripping and pushed the button. Good thing I have power locks... althought they got me into this in the first place. So damn them. Now I have to dry my damn clothes since it is freaking pouring outside. I got soaked. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to School before the tardy cut-off. I think its 10... so I probably won't make it. I mean... however long it takes for my clothes to dry then the 20 minute drive.
  5. I somehow locked my goddamn keys in my car... with it running. Fuck if I know... It wasn't locked when I got out of it and I didn't lock it. Anyways, It has about half a tank. There aren't any locksmiths that I know of here in Brookville (atleast not in the phonebook) and even if I did, I'm flat broke. I can't get ahold of any family members. They are either working, not picking up the phone, or working. I'm missing school too (will be my 4th this year, already). I need to either get in the damn thing or shut it off. Any help is greatly appreciated. And quick too, I'm wasting my damn gas!
  6. Technically, it's a creek. :D Anyways, all of this has inspired me to take some additional pics of good ol' historic Brooville. Don't know when I will, but want to get so close ups of some things as well as some things that aren't shown. Also... sometime later this year... probably a few weeks from now, I want to take some pics of the fall's beauty. :P
  7. Again, more...
  8. More...
  9. Brookville Life.com Brookville Boroughs.org Brookville School District I didn't realize there is so much information and so many pics of my town...
  10. Mute did as well...
  11. The 3.9L isn't too technological. It just has VVT, which is almost useless on a push-rod, imo.
  12. I like the Series III Supercharged 3800... The rest, well, not so much. If it being phased out means that it will have to be removed from the Lucerne where it doesn't belong, I don't think I'll shed any tears. They go well with Fieros, but that doesn't warrant it still being produced as used ones will always be plentiful. So... bring on the DOHCs... :D
  13. Exactly. If Pontiac ever goes... I'm not going to settle for a Chevy. I'll leave GM for the truest replacement possible. I'm not alone here, either... (although Pontiac haters like to suggest that) I belong to enough Pontiac car forums to know that a good amount of them from each would. Anyways, this happened with Oldsmobile too. Most didn't stick around and GM has never regained those sales. The same will happen with eliminating another brand... even Saturn.
  14. Yeah... Pretty much. :D
  15. Exactly... Tempest isn't right for the G6. Everybody would complain that it isn't RWD (especially Sixty8). Save it for something else... maybe another Corsica. But seriously, it needs to be called what it is; a Grand Am. That's why anyone who voted for anything other than Grand Am needs to be shot. :D :P
  16. I agree and disagree. I do think Honda needs this and the V8, but from the sounds of it, you want atleast the Acura version to be huge. Limo capability, V10, reclining back seats?!?!? Holy hell... is it's direct competition Maybach? How about keeping about Chrysler LX sized... no bigger, and with the V8. Keep with Acura's sleek and stealthy styling and refined interior. As for the Honda version... Basically the same size as the Acura would be. Make a V6 standard with the V8 being a high-end option. Styling wouldn't be bland, but wouldn't stray too far from Honda's usual. Same with the interior. Idk about a Prelude, though... This chassis seems way to large for a Prelude. And it really never was a 2+2 grand tourer. The idea of a V8 is fine, but a V6 would do it well anyways.
  17. Shaved pussies... That's not exactly the kind I was thinking about. :P Anyways, don't worry Ocnblu, I liked your idea... :D
  18. Oh... but it does. If somebody disses Pontiac, I go into a never ending depression and eventually commit suicide. It's sad... I know.
  19. I think that some GM engines from that time were overrated. I think it'd be interesting to test them under the new SAE rules. The Quad4 is rough engine, although I love how it sounds. Much better than the vacuum sweeper that is the Ecotec 2.2L. It's the best sounding 4cyl, imo. It is interesting that the power levels are higher than today's engines. The regular Quad4 had 155hp and something like 150lbft of torque and had just as good fuel mileage (everything depending on the year). The HO is better with 180hp and 160lbft of torque with almost as good mileage (again, all depends on year).
  20. Say what? I can't understand anything you said.
  21. Hmm... hard to tell as I don't exactly have a career at the moment. :D As for my planned career, well, let's see: When I was young I played with toy cars. Hotwheels... Matchbox... etc. I had die-cast collectibles, RC cars, and such, too. I was infatuated with cars. My planed career is to do be an Automotive designer. If that doesn't work out, I'll try being specialty 'aftermarket' designer. If not that, simply something having to do with automobiles. So... you guys tell me... has any of that influenced me? http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons//AH-HA_wink.gif
  22. This thread is hilarious!!! Anyways... That MPV is wierd. Celica headlights, Pontiac grill, Subaru badge, and made for off-roading. Yeah... super small penis. :P
  23. Hey... People generalize about Pontiac too. Nobody ever seems to have a problem with it, except me. So why is there a problem if I do it about California? Besides... I've been to California. 3 times. Sacramento twice and Los Angeles once. Each time with my grandma. Twice with her old Sunfire to Sacramento. I'll just say that other than it's beauty, I wasn't impressed. Most of my reasons for hating it came from those times. The overall reason is that it is a state packed full of Pontiac haters. But I don't want to get into this again... I've explained my reasoning before... Back to the analysts... Okay, so it is more like educated guesses. Sorry. :P Anywho... Yeah, I show my age. I know that. I'm 16 and I'm immature. I can't help it. If I could, I can tell you that I would. Do you think I like how I am? I don't. I wish I could be different. I'm just not intelligent enough nor... capable of it. So... I try to accept it and deal with it...
  24. No... I'm not, actually. I made no mention of any auto reviewer or where they are located. Now I will. They are not all wrong. If they are, it's not like they're complete retards. They just aren't being completely fair. I mean, Most can't leave their biases out of reviews. Images, perception, and reputation matter to them. They worry about the most irrelevant things and are so anal about everything. They use too much personal opinion and taste. They make unfair comparisons. Again, that's not saying every one is this way, but finding a fair review is hard to do. Thanks for bringing this up even though I said nothing about it... It'll just clear even more things up. :D
