You of all people know that the media is corrupted. Don't suddenly use that as an excuse for why sales=competitive. It doesn't and any person with a drop of objectivity should know that. We're talking about sales equalling competitiveness, not success. Uncompetitive cars can be successful, but that's not justification to make a car uncompetitive. That's just retarded. Take that any way you want but GM cannot continue to get by making uncompetitive cars. Obviously, GM realizes that too. Look at the upcoming Aura, the Enclave concept, the new Tahoe... All thoroughly competitive. Well, the Aura and Enclave should be going by the concepts... Do you forget who the hell your talking to? It's me, BV. Remember now? Yeah, I like Imports. It's no secret but I originally came here as a GM fan. Yeah, GM annoys me sometimes and only really like them for Pontiac. Still, I'm in the middle. I don't have much against imports or domestics, I just like what I like and I call it like I see it. I won't give slack to any manufacturer for doing something I'm not a fan of. I especially won't deny something that's deserved. Now, do me a favor and never come at me like that again. I've never said anything against you and I respect you. I wasn't calling you or Sixty8 "completely retarded". The logic in what he was saying? Yes, but not him. Got it? However, what I said was true. Factor in the f@#king fleet sales! I garantee you that Chevy will not be the best selling car brand after doing so. Especially when somewhere around half of Impalas and Malibus go to fleets. Again, I said nothing about success or money. I'm strictly talking about the cars themselves and whether they are competitive or not. In case you forgot, competitive means to be as good or better than the car it is competing with. In this way, most of GM's midsizers are uncompetitive. Don't like it? Yell at GM, not me. I'm just calling it like I see it, as I said. Um... what? I said using the logic Sixty8 displayed in his post would surely run GM into the ground had he been in charge. Looking at what's happening at GM now, they don't use that logic. They realize they have to make vehicles that are as good or better than the competition and will finally starting to put out competitive products. But it's okay for you to criticize me and foreign brands? Ding, ding, ding! That's my point. Sales do not equal the best vehicle, as shown by Toyota and *gasp* GM. Really? Its just to piss people like you and Sixty8 off... Huh... I would have thought it was to make GM a better company. Guess not... If that isn't a conspiracy theory if I ever saw one...

Camino... You can't possibly get rid of your Firehawk can you? I'm still shocked that are. Are you sure this still isn't some sort of sick joke? I mean... how can you possibly get rid of your Firehawk?!?!? I'd sell my soul, if I had to... You can do that, can't you? Just don't get rid of it. But if you must... You must suffer!!!! Muahahahahaha!!!! *grins devilishly*

Sixty8... You can't possibly think being #1 in sales makes any vehicle competitive, can you? That is completely retarded. First off, you really must factor in fleet sales. I think doing that would show how Chevy really sells. Second, that's just really retarded. Sales do not equal better, competitive. You are just so out of touch here... that it's extremely hilarious. I'm glad someone like you isn't in charge of GM. The company would have been run into the ground by now...

You know... if this thing had a nicer looking exterior and interior... It'd wouldn't be all that bad. As is, those are my two biggest complaints. The mechanicals sound nice and the rest... well, I guess I could live with. If only it weren't ugly... *dreams* *sigh*

Interesting... A FWD truck... That's sporty... Yet looks huge... And has a Hemi.
-
Well, I find that funny... Going to jail... For selling a Church... and buying a BMW.
-
Interesting. That interior is horrible. Those taillights are horrible. The rest... it's okay. Nothing spectalur, nothing terrible. It seems big.
-
I think that's a good way to live. America should adopt Europe's way of taxing to truly eliminate large cars. Oh... what a dream!
-
Oh Fly... chill. Other than a few things showing my annoyance of razor, what I said is substantiated, especially about how Buick needs some originality and anything of my opinion, unless, I don't have to right to my own opinion? Obviously something, silly. Ta-da! Perhaps those who don't see a problem with the interior... sat in the wrong car since the Lucerne doesn't stand out much. When I sat in it... same impression as Sciguy and all the others.

I'll just say that if you guys are talking about the Lounge... "Kick back, relax, and enjoy the company of your fellow C&Gers and GM fans. Anything goes, as long as it abides by our motto: Fun Topics, Friendly People." Does that not mean anything off the topic of GM or possibly cars? I think it would as that is what Lounges are for. If not, well, might as well start another one for that then, like alot of other forums I visit. Anyways, I joined this site for GM, cars... but had it not been for the openness and the community, I would have left a long time ago as GM mostly annoys me now.

Basically, retro is just as bad as a bland design. They're both unoriginal to the point that some look like exact clones of others. How can anybody like this? If you like the Challenger, you should love vehicles like the Camry. The way I see it, they're equal from a designer's standpoint. Again, they're aren't unique in any way. Those who like retro... make me laugh. So, I voted no. Ask me if I like the bland craze and you'll get the same answer.

Oh god am I horny! Sorry I had to say that. I'm just deprived of any sexual please. Sad, isn't it?

Hmm... that wagon looks hot.

Look at the pic Bimmer posted... and show me "rice".Anyways, I finally realized what makes me like the concept coupe so much more than the production coupe. It's the wheel flares. I can't stand that style of them, making the concept look so much better. Also, the tinted headlights help too. Hmm... a black Si coupe with tinted headlights and those wheel flares/ground effects...

Come on people!!!! I have to be able to pick between more than only one avatar suggestion!!!!

The chance of something like that is highly likely in Brookville.

GM Unveils All-New 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche, Makes
Cory Wolfe replied to Variance's topic in Chevrolet
No... It's the Avalanche's. Considering it's basically identical to the Tahoe's, except for that open storage bin in the center console.... -
White with black...
-
Still no car... still haven't sold anything...
-
Yes, I suppose, but as Empowah mentioned, the proportions are all wrong. Combine it with the bland design that's trying to be... something other than a Buick and the result isn't spectacular. But still better than the Avalon, regardless. As for Japanese cars... Well, I'll give you the Avalon, practically every other Toyota/Lexus, and few Hondas... but most of the rest are quite nice, 350Z included. Seeing that car in person, especially the mildly updated 06, will change opinions. While I always liked it, I never thought it was amazing... Now I'm in love with it. The exhaust sound was pretty awesome, too...

So... who wants to find/design me a new avatar?!?!?!? Steelers won, all is well now. I don't have any current ideas and don't feel like searching google for a damn pic. Also, if anyone does, it must match my sig's color scheme. As you know, I'm big on matching sig/av combos... What can I say? In that respect, I truly am gay.

GM Unveils All-New 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche, Makes
Cory Wolfe replied to Variance's topic in Chevrolet
I like it... Looks good. Best GMT900 yet, followed closely by the Suburban and then Tahoe. Who would have guessed it? -
Hehe... if by argumentative, you mean that I smilied while writing that (kind of like right now) at how silly (I can't think of a better word) you're being? Or by that I feel like arguing? Either way, yes, I am. Both would be true. I didn't like you're post as it you basically called other people's opinion/personal taste "bitching". Calling something as "bitching" can be justified, but I didn't see anything worthy of such. In turn, you bitched about people "bitching", aka expressing personal opinion/taste. Quite ironic, isn't it?
