    07 Escalade

That's my thinking as well. Big, knobby tires, skidplates - that's HUMMER material.

    Pictures!

    Me and my lovely girl.
  3. No, there's no program to add. Just gohere and follow the directions.
  4. On ImageShack.us... 1) Upload photo. 2) Copy/paste the URL address at the bottom where it says "Direct link to image." 3) Click the 'IMG' buttom on the posting page and paste that whole URL. It should work.
  5. You can upload it to www.imageshack.us and copy/paste the URL here. :)
  6. My girlfriend wants a Colorado to replace her '88 Blazer. Yeah, she has good taste. :)
  7. What the hell does it matter where its built as long as it has some appeal to the European market? You can't tell me there is latent 'Euro pride' in cars across the pond - Rolls-Royce is owned by the Germans and a bunch of midrange cars are made in Hungary and the Czech Republic for crying out loud.
  8. GM still does better than most in many cases. Look at the DeVille, Bonneville, C5, and even LeSabre which doesn't have a popout but an integrated mounting area that looks fine with or without a plate.
  9. Ultimate sleeper? Wrong. If it looked like this... or better yet, this...
  10. Thank you for saying 'changed' instead of' improved as I think it looks rather cheesy.
  11. Besides the X5 and 5er, no Bimmer has any appeal to me stylistically. I could say the 6er, but then I'd have to accept the dumpy rear.
  12. Except for the Ridgeline.
  13. VW may benefit from Chrysler's reliability. :D
  14. I 'sold' a Rendezbous, Sierra, Tracker, Grand Am, and a few used cars to friends and associates.
  15. Plus, foreign was cool no matter if it was actually well-made or complete trash. Today, foreign is blase.
  16. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the most appealing French cars stateside were the Citroens because they were of decent size and had innovative features and unique styling. I'm looking at the current Renault lineup and I find nothing really that unique, appealing, or something Nissan couldn't just integrate into their lineup; just a bunch of weird cars. Oh, and check out the frontpage and scroll over the Menage Coupe-Cabrio. Let's stop saying the Grand Prix has the worst overhang in the world. The allure of a French automobile (aside from a select few) really mystifies me.
  17. One hopes it would have a sedan companion.
  18. I'm gonna do a Hyundai Tiburon...aww yeah! j/k
  19. 'Cause they're backwards, eh? Freakin' Hoosiers...
  20. Or a Crown Vic to spoof the cops? They'd never pull over one of their own. Or a taxi. Around here, sporty imports get nabbed the most. SUVs close behind. I've seen only a handful of fullsize Buicks and Oldsmobiles pulled over, msotly rattletraps from the 70s with 10 people inside.
  21. I try and convince all my friends to buy an Aztek, 'cause...well...someone should. Some laugh, some think about it seriously, no one's taken the bit yet, though. I wouldn't mind a blue '05 myself.
  22. Absolutely disgusting. The sides and rear, however, do look nice. Muc like the REV.
  23. Greetings from the Poor Man's Hawaii. Humidity is a way of life here. Remember, we're the state that boomed after the air conditioner was perfected. My advice to anyone who visits or stays for a long time is to wear loose-fitting, light clothes and make sure your car's a/c system is in good shape. If you're going to be outside for awhile, beach or not, wear a bit of sunscreen adn a hat and glasses don't hurt either. Other than that, just do what 15 million of us do and just deal with it. You'll never just 'get used to it'; I've lived here all my life and it still sucks. As for the drivers, my theory is that we get te rejects from all you Yankee states. Orlando drivers are to Floridians asNew York or L.A. drivers are to the rest of the country, namely they can't. Weave and bob is all they can do and at extrodinarily high speeds. And on I-4 in Orlando, they love to use the HOV lane for supersonic passes, so watch out for Audis, Bimmers, and Lexuses. They're the worst in Orlando. People make fun of grandpa in his Park Avenue for going 10 under the limit in the left lane. But at least wiht him, you know he's on the slow boat to China. These other crazies? Good luck. Also, watch out for RVs, the big fat hippos of the highways. No one knows how to drive those things. Appliance Direct is a large appliance (duh) wholesale chain with locations in central Florida and along the Space Coast. if the crazy guy is oriental and the woman is gangly-looking, then I know exactly what you're talking about. And all I have to say is..."Porcelain...wasy to clean and maintain. Smooth!" But come three months from now, you and everyone else will be wishing you were here in Florida. Beautiful sunsets, temperate air, mild breezes, and no snow. See, I can go to beach in December; can you? :D BTW: The Contemporary is beautiful hotel, IMO. I like it at least, especially how the monorail cuts through it. Also, if you or anyone else ever saunters through the Tampa Bay area at any time for whatever reason and want a quick tour or lunch, do let me know. I'd love to meet some fellow C&Gers if the chance arises. :) Enjoy your stay, Cmattson!
  24. Why couldn't Honda send Mr. Opportunity out there to help? Seriously, though, this is a great story to use in marketing.
  25. I drive an Oldsmobile. That alone gets me a free pass over most other cars.
