  1. That deserves one of the 13 more I added...
  2. I think its become clear you peoples loves your smilies.
  3. Our old '79 LeSabre Limited coupe. 1991-2005. She's somewhere in big Buick heaven now, bragging about her youthful 65,000 miles and kickass Museum of Science and Industry stickers I put all over her roof. RIP, girl. I'd have to scan photos of our '87 Toronado previous to that boat and the '98 Regal GS we had for two years. I also have a picture of a ca-ca brown diesel Olds my father bought new because he worked in the power generation industry and this was gonna be the next big thing. I remember one thing about it and that's that it smelled like ass.
  4. He lost control going like 25mph on an empty road. That's. Priceless.
  5. Those really don't look that ugly. Crappy? Yes. Welfare? Yes. But not ugly.
  6. Rather large, so... 1981 Accord EX Wow! A clock! For my convenience! Now I'll know that it took me exactly six hours and twenty-eight minutes to go around the block in my 80-hp Honda!
  7. It really doesn't sound much worse than the condition your car is in now. And if it weren't for the mechanical issues, who cares? You're not too good for a free car or anything. But anyway, man, back in the day when Luminas were vans and cars. You could also just go straight to their site Free Car Brochures
  8. I think its been a little more than "seven or so times" for ol' Sixty8...
  9. It was a palmetto bug. She was trying to teach you something, idiot. Gosh...
  10. [ocnblu] I've never met poetry, so no. Not yet. But if he's cute... [/ocn] Seriously, I got to the point where I wondered that if Emerson, Thoroeu, or Dickinson were around today and heard experts' analysis of their work, would they nod in agreement, bust up laughing, or kill themselves again because its so woefully wrong? Some things don't need to be analyzed that much, just appreciated for whatever you get from it. I love teacher's that say you read a poem wrong. Y'okay...
  11. Okay, back on topic... Applebees and Chili's are like 'nicer than McDonald's' places, i.e. "Hey, let's go to Chili's...its nicer than McDonald's." Not that special otherwise.
  12. They went a bit overboard with the sideview mirror airvent trim, but otherwise its very, very nice.
  13. Oh, I know. I've seen people do that (we all have) and its really just sad.
  14. Um....YES.... I don't see anywhere where I said the Stalk was superior. I said its a manner of preference. There is no universal love for Toyota's positioning either; if there were, every car would've adopted it in much the same way the majority of cars have adopted headlamp controls on the left portion of the dash behind the wheel.
  15. Hmmm...like the 2002 Camry? Why was a car that would never see a column shifter apparently designed with one in mind? This is a very, very large IMHO. I can't even see why you'd make that statement. And, as Oldsmoboi said, column shifters are apparently hot again with BMW and Mercedes. In fact, those shifters are worse because they're extremely counterintuitive (7er had 'valet instructions' on the sunvisor) and non-tactile. Name someone who has trouble figuring out a standard column shift and I'll show you someone who should be in the care of the state.
  16. I've never been so disappointed I've had to complain about food nor service. However, poor waiting service is inversely proportional to one's tip. People can whine all they want about "living on tips;" you knew this when your applied for the job, so perform for the pay. Of course, it has to be pretty bad to leave a bad tip with me. Anyway, any complaints by me would be made kindly and rationally. Yelling and getting irate proves nothing as oftentimes whatever you're complaining about can be an honest mistake. If they blow me off (this applies for any service business), then I complain with my feet and never return...as well as spreading the word to my friends.
  17. And there's not a single GM car on which you can't get a floor shifter...
  18. I smilied up your post.
  19. Really? 'Cause, uh... Yeaaaaah.
  20. Um...
  21. If the MKS concept we've been shown is merely a styling mule and not production-ready, that is a very, very sad statement on Ford's part.
  22. Dude, can you smell the kidding? You're making a bigger deal out of this than anyone. Get off of it. Seriously.
  23. All your favorites like :AH-HA_wink: , , and are still here along with new ones like , , and . Brought to you by from
