MT Car of the Year
When GM builds better products, M/T will like them.

Official 2007 Camry Pics & Details
The interior looks surprisingly cheap. The SE exterior isn't bad, though the wheels look too small for a "sport" model.

Are you sure you don't mean the new Grand Vitara?

Which would you recommend?
Milan? :D Or if you want GM, why not wait for the Aura?

Happy B-day BV!!!
Happy, happy, happy birthday, BV! (In a high-pitched, fat woman voice... you know, like those Carl's Jr commercials.)

Car of the Year Award for the new Impala
To be honest, every single new Impala that I've seen driving are rental/fleet cars. Most are LTZs, surprisingly, with the machined 17" double-spoke wheels, and some are base LSs.

What Era of Automobiles is your Favorite?
2000's... most older cars aren't that good to drive, and I'm weary of a future that'll make driving uninvolving.

Vauxhall Sales Rocket!
As someone who has never considered a GM product before (well, except for the GTO), I would without a doubt like to purchase an Astra 5-door. Yes, make it in the US, but no, don't change anything, do NOT Nissanize the interior like in the spy pics. Why does buying American have to be so difficult?

What about global engines?
Well, the Vectra and Commodore aren't really that "premium"... I can't see why they aren't on Malibus and G6s.

New Mercedes-Benz GL-Class Unveiled
Well actually, the interior looks identical to the ML's, which also isn't impressive. Don't the GC and ML share a platform?

Toyota's Onslaught
The introduction of the RAV4 will probably cannibalize Highlander sales.

"I don't much care for..."
The one from C&G that often makes me crazy is break/brake. Or not capitalizing proper nouns... you know, like countries that aren't the US or makers of non-domestic cars.

New Mercedes-Benz GL-Class Unveiled
What in the name of all that's holy is Mercedes thinking? Am I right in saying that the GL's sole purpose in life is to be a blatant competitor to the Escalade? Admittedly, Merc did raise the technical bar for this segment with the Pre-Safe, Cd 0.37 aerodynamics, 7-speed, etc.

What about global engines?
The HF V6s are the only six-cylinder petrol engines used in GM products (and Alfas) outside of North America. Wasn't there a HF V6 plant in Australia?

Buick Lucerne real world pictures
Exactly. Sometimes I just don't think GM's design team gets it. (I've read until recently, they didn't even have a dedicated interior team.) They focus on putting chrome trim on knobs and reducing the gaps between the dash and doors, which is nice, all while ignoring the basics. That said, the Lucerne does "have it" for the most part. The door panels and seats look proper, and it's only marred by the generic lower dash and center console.

GMC Mobile Home
Wow, that's fantastic. Wonder if GM's "Advanced Design Group" actually designs any cars.

Cadillac Ad
Nice footage, though it doesn't really seem like an ad.

The future of HUD?
BMW never had a touch-screen CRT... that's probably Lexus or Jaguar, except their's were LCD.

A "Quality" Poll
I sit inside my car for the most part, so a tolerable interior is mandatory. A nice, high quality one helps make driving more enjoyable and ownership more satisfying.

Marketing Hype
Manufacturers do that... maybe this'll kill some of the Challenger hype.

Heated Windshield Washer Fluid
I only hope this newly changed branding lasts longer than four weeks... commercials and other media need to be consistent to reinforce a common brand image.

For Those Who Have Actually Sat in One...
So I guess I'm the only one entertained by the cheesiness of it?

For Those Who Have Actually Sat in One...
The Grand Prix does have really attractive front seats, though, except for the generic square headrests, which look too far back. I don't know... in some ways, I kinda like the cheesiness and character of the GP interior. I find it unique and entertaining in a perverse way... the cheesy gauges, the A/C vents machine gunned into the dash, the gigantic minivan steering wheel (I know, I know, the GP had it first), the 1980's window switches... it all adds up. Oh, I forgot to mention the coach bus upholstery, too, though the stuff on the later models looks pretty decent. This trim kit makes it look pretty decent, IMO, if you only installed the major parts, not the radio/HVAC control surrounds.
