  1. Yeah, those suck. Even as I car enthusiast, I switched to another channel. What's the point of seeing a common car spinning around for 30 seconds?

Styling is apparently from the Chinese-market B12... ... which is essentially a plagiarized Daewoo Magnus.

"AVL of Graz, Austria, which designs and tests engines for automakers including Mercedes, is designing engines for Bricklin -- a 290-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6, and a 4.8-liter 400-horsepower V-8. Chery will assemble the AVL engines in Wuhu." "Bricklin would not identify the transmission and all-wheel-drive makers but said the companies are well-established." "Bertone designed sports sedan with V6 engine, 6-speed transmission and all wheel drive to compete witih BMW 330i, Audi A4, Mercedes Benz C320 and Volvo S60 ($32,000 comparably equipped); our anticipated MSRP $19,000." Ummm... no.

    2008 Malibu spied!

Also a bit of Volvo S40 in the front end, particularly the hood opening and upper "fenders". The side profile is Phaetonesque.

Wow, I like it... it looks good.
  9. The Jeep one is new. The GC always seems to be recalled.
  10. I'm surprised no one has mentioned lifted Silverados, Rams, or F-series SDs. Almost all of them have tinted windows, Independent Truck Company decals, and loud exhausts, and they're driven by men who always tailgate and cut people off and have permanent sunglasses and caps. Nissan 350Z and Mercedes drivers are pretty bad, too.

Umm... here's what he once wrote about his own Ford 500. http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...?showtopic=9525 Cars always have their moments when they just piss you off.
  12. OK, I'm bored. Now that the hype has died, I really don't care for the styling anymore. Hope the US version gets much fresher sheetmetal.

Well, if you sell the brand, you're advertising all Cadillacs, as opposed to one particular model. Frankly, the new "summer event" ads that try to impress us with the car bore me to death. Most people see nothing special in watching 360 angles of a car, no matter how stunning one might think it is. And even worse is advertising features or horsepower, which is always a bit juvenile.
  17. It depends on the mood... Sometimes I say that they must be rushing to the ER... Or that they really have to use the bathroom... Or that they're having a bad day... Or that they're PMSing... Other times, I like to laugh at these cars, weaving in and out of traffic, only to be caught up later on... Often I scoff at speeding cars, but then I often speed myself... And often I hear a car at WOT and think, "gosh, how arrogant", but perhaps the drivers are merely being petrolheads... Etc, etc...
