  1. Not just high power RWD cars, ANY car can give you a hard time if you drive like an idiot in winter.
  2. But the Grand Prix is special because it usually isn't used as a pursuit vehicle. The ones you listed all have a police package. Although today I saw cops in a G6.
  3. We're back in the dollar range now... 102.9 here in Waterloo.
  4. Anything would be an improvement over the 5200... I would recommend going for a 6800GT or 7600GT AGP version, if you can find it and on a bit of a budget. You'll need to upgrade your power supply to at least 350W as well. 300W is just too weak these days. Even the mainstream cards got more power hungry. But first thing I would try if you do have any problems is updating your display card drivers.
  5. "The Calcium Cracker Loaded with Nutritional Horsepower!" Vegetable power! So it's a biodiesel hybrid model! I need to look for the F version of this out there now.
  6. I hope you're not referring to the EDAG one. That thing looks weird. A Solstice coupe should have a low-slung roof like a Cayman.
  7. And I see a slight hint of Accord Coupe concept in it. But that thing is a dub of the G6 coupe anyways, so it doesn't matter.
  8. Reminds me of the KITT. I like it!
  9. http://www.thestar.com/Business/article/187387 I've passed by it once, actually.
  10. Just more excuses for insurance companies to jack up premiums. "Oh, your car is more likely to have a costly repair when you bump your ass against the front, so we'll need to charge you more."
  11. Very well written article. Sums up all nicely. To keep the momentum of the Solstice going, they need to build a coupe. And while at it, a mid-range model, something that slots between the 2.4L and the GXP, in the 200HP range.
  12. Sadly yes, but I see a lot of Camrys, Altimas and Mazda6s as rental fleets lately as well. The G6 was a hit, no doubt that. Yes, it has a chunk of old GM thinking in it, and yes it has an old pushrod, and yes it was bastardized by Oprah. But it's really a great bang for the buck and it is one good car.. Even my import humper friends say it's good, after being in my car and a rental. I can totally see the next rental queen being the Five... I mean Taurus and the Sebring.
  13. All you G6 haters out there... it's one of the cars that helping GM and it's selling. So there you go.
  14. Where did you find the steelies in the Grand Am?
  15. http://news.windingroad.com/body-stylesmar...by-pininfarina/ First thing that came to my mind:
  16. And yet we have another storm heading our way here in Southern Ontario...
  17. Looks like a very wierd blend of Accord and Astra, all packaged into an Accent. Can Hyundai and Kia for once not copy someone else?
  18. Ditto for Alero. Among one of the best cars GM made in the 2000s. Avoid Cavaliers though. They really aren't there, and almost everyone I knew who've been in a J-Body end up in an import.
  19. Any Buick dealers who say this can go f**k themselves, shut down and shut up. Except I don't like the "Statesman" name. Call it Invicta, make it look just like the new Royaum, and it's all set. The Holden's a great car and it will sell if priced right. Even better if it's assembled here.
  20. The SRX is a CTS wagon with slightly more ground clearance... I know... offer VersaTrak on the CTS wagon. Much like what Volvo does for the V70 and the XC70. That should cover up for the SRX.
  21. Saw on Saturday and forgot to enter this: A Buick Terraza Hearse.
  22. Damn... his car must be some wierd fleet package... a V6 in a 4-cylinder package. It has those cover spoke wheels. I'm keeping my 16s.
  23. I think this article deserves to be in the C&G Drives section. What happened to there? At first there was quite some heat, but then it cooled down. It would be interesting to see some stuff like this in C&G Drives, similar to CanadianDriver's Motoring Memories articles.
  24. No, he didn't get a GT, so it's probably the 17" 5-spoke, and it's silver. And that's the set I want.
