Was it this....thing? If so, it's the Tornado/Montana, depending on whether it's being sold in Mexico or elsewhere in Latin America. There's a rumor/joke going around here that it'll come here as the next El Camino, but I'm positive that'll go over like a fart in a spacesuit.

In Coram, at the intersection of RT 25 and RT 112. It used to be a drive in (can't remember the name, but I do remember seeing Superman in it with my family), but it closed down for a couple of years and was turned into a UA theater when I was growing up. It actually did pretty well, then suddenlty seven or so years ago they shut the doors and it's been sitting there rotting ever since.

I think the drive in nearest me is in the Bronx . I'd go in a heartbeat. My car is infinitely more comfy than any seat in any multiplex. You don't have to deal with rude patrons that think that because they bought a ticket that they have the right to talk on their cell phone and block your view throughout the movie while leaving all their empty food containers all over the place. You don't have to pay $10 for a small popcorn and small drink. There's an abandoned multiplex about two miles from my house that started life as a drive-in. It's an eyesore right now and I'd love for it to be turned into something that plays movies, be it a drive-in or a multiplex, as the nearest theater is a half hour drive in either direction.

Well, before this thread turns overly negative, keep in mind that the article doesn't specifically say what vehicles will be added. Also remember that it's already being retooled to produce another platform, and if you need a hint as to what it might be, here's one:

We've said it many times - all the thinkers at GM work at Holden. I hope the Crewman/Denali sees the light of day on both continents.

I don't do much fast food anymore because it's healthier and cheaper to either cook my own food or just go to a sit-down restaurant. The last place I went to was Wendy's a few months ago. They are good - a cut above McD's and BK that we normally have around here - and I am tempted to get one of their new strawberry swirl frostees. I do Quizno's and Subway every now and then, and there's a Tropical Smoothie place nearby that makes fantastic sandwiches and wraps. I went to an In-n-Out in San Diego and I don't understand the hype. The burger I got was like your average McD's burger. Jack in the Box is awesome. Love their fries. Everything I've ever had was made fresh. You can get breakfast anytime you want. If you're ever in Texas, check out Taco Cabana. Not really a drive thru, but it blows Taco Bell clear out of the water.

Please do expand upon this comment.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Borger has a heart. Thanks for choosing not to send a Holden to the crusher.

Base Mustangs are horrible. It's amazing that the Mustang gets a free pass for having such a wheezy, soft, lumbering base model. Try not to think of the V6 Camaro as a Mustang competitor. Pull off two spark plugs from the 3.6L, stick the body panels in a giant furnace until they melt, and gut the interior, and you'll have a Mustang competitor. I see the V6 Camaro as a car that'll undercut the G37 by several thousand while being infinitely more dyamic in every way.

Production Camaro Revealed ~July 21 2008~ (Image from Edmunds) GM officially pulled off the wraps of the production Camaro today, releasing official photos, and powetrain specs. How's this for a base engine: 300 screaming horses and 26MPG!!! This isn't your father's Camaro folks. Comparing this car to the Mustang would be selling it short. Click the links below to talk about the '10 Camaro. Major Camaro Announcement, 7.21.08 4PM Eastern Production Camaro Revealed

I can't see any of those lowering her cost of living ('cept maybe the SMRT). She's going to get nothing for the Liberty due to the mileage and the fact that it's an SUV, so she'll be footing the bill for the majority of the purchase. I'd say just keep it and run it into the ground. Paying gas bills on the Liberty will still be cheaper than a new car payment plus gas bills. But I know how women are, so she's already got it in her mind that she wants to dump the Liberty. Check out the Escape/Mariner hybrid, HHR, Cobalt sedan XFE, and (ugh) the Fit.

This is fantastic, inside and out. There isn't a single detail that I don't like.

Are those slight tailfins I see on a wagon?

Saab 9-2x. I think only two people actualy bought those.

Ilch. You'll be removing glass shards forever. I'm almost certain you could find a decent rear glass for one of these at a junkyard.

Nice. I really do like the post-refresh 9-3s a lot, not that the 03-07 was ugly or anything.
-
Not to start a SS - Z/28 debate, but I gave the Z the six because the Z for the first two generations was the small engined free revving track star while the SS was the high horsepower brute with the biggest V8 available.

I stopped giving this guy any credit after reading the bolded text. At least look up the facts instead of saying "most likely". Bunk. Keep the brands, lose the overlapping vehicles. Make a top notch product and people will buy it. It's that simple. Cruze, Beat, a new Aveo, and a new Astra are all on the way. This won't be another Beretta convertible situation. GM knows the PR hit would be devastating if they don't make good on their word with the Volt.

"As long as I'm doing OK, who cares?"

You shot a tank of propane and it exploded. How could you say you didn't expect that? If Hank Hill were real, he'd be pissed.

How about this, given today's climate? SS: LS3 Z/28: turbo or bi-turbo 3.6L DI I'd target both around 435-450hp. They'd obviously drive like completely different animals and appeal to different customers. Plus, performance-wise it'd be hard to choose a true "top dog".

'05 Cobalt LS (2.2L) with the automagic Last tank: 27.8MPG purely stop-n-go ~300miles a tank * on this particular tank I ran a bottle of injector cleaner

Well, it took a week, and Camino and I are ready to gouge our eyes out with a melon baller, but the results of the C&G Census are in. Take a look at the numbers below and come to your own conclusion. One thing's for sure: each brand is not without its appeal in the GM hierarchy. Buick Total responses: 52 Total number of new Buicks purchased sine 1998: 24 Total number of people who have purchased new Buicks since 1998: 14 Number of people who will buy a new Buick within the next two years: 9 Number of people who will consider a new Buick within hte next two years: 10 Number of people who will not consider a new Buick: 31 --- Cadillac Total responses: 49 Total number of new Cadillacs purchased since 1998: 26 Total number of people who bought new Cadillacs since 1998: 11 Number of people who plan to purchase a new Cadillac within the next two years: 7 Number of people who would consider a new Cadillac within the next two years: 18 Number of people who will not consider a new Cadillac: 20* Note: A significant number of voters eliminated Cadillac fom consideration due to their financial situation, but expressed a desire to own one if money allowed. --- Chevrolet Total Responses - 53 Total number of new Chevrolets purchased since 1998: 63 Total number of people who purchased a new Chevrolet since 1998: 32 Number of people who are committed to purchasing a new Chevrolet within the next two years: 7 Number of people who would consider a new Chevrolet within the next two years: 24 Number of people who will not consider buying a Chevy within the next two years: 17 --- GMC Total responses: 36 Total number of new GMCs bought since 1998: 16 Total number of people who have purchased new GMCs since 1998: 11 Number of people who will buy a new GMC within the next two years: 4 Number of people who will consider a new GMC within the next two years: 9 Number of people who will not consider a new GMC: 22 --- Hummer Total responses: 34 Total number of new Hummers purchased since 1998: 0 Total number of people who have purchased a new Hummer since 1998: 0 Number of people who will buy a new Hummer: 1 Number of people who wil consider a new Hummer: 8 Number of people who will not consider a new Hummer: 21 Note: The majority of those who said they would consider a new Hummer had said their decision to buy a Hummer hinged on the availability of the Hx. --- Pontiac 52 Members answered both questions.
