  1. Vipes, I wasn't directing my comment at you, or anyone in particular. Take two of these and call me in the morning:
  2. *Ahem* One of C&G's greatest strengths is our members' ability to tolerate viewpoints different from their own. *Ahem*
  3. Remember when the Camaro was coming back in 2007? *sniff* *wipes tear from eye*
  4. Uuummm.....maybe not. That would be like the New York Yankees or Frank Sinatra (if he were still alive) changing their names. All are American icons and household names. Why give any of that up?
  5. Know what I've taken a liking to? Shooting crickets with a rubber band. It's funny to hit them, then watch them jump high in the air, like they just stepped on a land mine or something. :P
  6. BS in CS from Polytechnic University (Summa-cum-laude) MS in CIS from University of Phoenix Now studying for my Microsoft certifications
  7. Public school, K-12. I also went to 8 years of Catechism.
  8. #5, because I don't like the look of the coupe at all, and the convertible looks like what it is: a coupe with the roof chopped off.
  9. I'd rather it not have the chrome strip at all...the coupe doesn't have it, and I think it looks great. Nonetheless it's on my list of possible second cars for when the 'balt is paid off. I don't think such a large top would be able to stow vertically like the SSR's does, unless it folds in three pieces.
  10. AAS, all Cobalts have a semi-independent torsion bar setup in the rear.
  11. Because this thread isn't weird enough, I'll add that when I quickly glance at the title, I think it says "Ever licked a monkey?"
  12. Grand Am, I think. I was watching on Sunday on Speed, and the Cobalts were doing rather well against Mustangs, Porsches, BMWs, and RX-8s
  13. You didn't put a box for electric blue...I was all set to check that one. Of those, I'd have to say Stealh Gray. Glad to hear you got everything all worked out :)
  14. I saw this late last night. WWE lost one of their best wrestlers and personalities. To think on Friday I was watching Smackdown and laughing hysterically at the sight of him in a powder blue six-fo lowrider. I think Chavo will probably dump the Kerwin White gimmick and wrestle under his real name to honor Eddie.
  15. I knew this was gonna happen. You can't part with it....you wuv it too much. Ladies and gentlemen, Hell's Pontiac Fanatic has a heart  Seriously, go search a couple of yards for a Quad 4. While you're at it, find a junked GA and pop a driver's side mirror off and get that fixed. You're a new driver, and there's no sense in forming bad habits by not having proper safety equipment. The "screws" on the bottom of your door panel are probably those white speed clips that break if you look at them the wrong way. I bought a small box of them for about $3 at AutoZone. The broken parts come out if you twist them. As I've said quite a few times in this thread, fixing up your car is the cheapest way to get yourself back on the road. Even if you only get a couple of years out of the car, it'll buy you some time to save some money for another car.
  16. If I didn't know any better, I'd swear you were being sarcastic  The G35 sedan is all right. at least it doesn't have that horrible exhaust note that the coupe and the 350Z have.
  17. Just do what CR does...ask 10 owners of each car you're researching what their real world MPG is, and take that as gospel.
  18. Tough question, because lots of them were great. I really like the '61s, especially in 'vert form.
  19. A great big welcome to you, Kaylan! Beautiful Saab....the last of the pre-GM ones. I love what you've done with the engine. Wait 'till our Saab moderator sees this...he's gonna want directions to your house.....j/k :P. Stick around...you'll enjoy it here :)
  20. Raindrops keep falling on my head And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed Nothin' seems to fit Those raindrops are falling on my head, they keep falling So I just did me some talkin' to the sun And I said I didn't like the way he' got things done Sleepin' on the job Those raindrops are falling on my head, they keep falling But there's one thing I know The blues he sends to meet me won't defeat me It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me Raindrops keep falling on my head But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red Crying's not for me Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin' Because I'm free Nothing's worrying me

  22. Niiiice truck. I dig the wheels especially. Did those come with the truck or did he get them via the aftermarket. I watch PowerBlock every Sunday, and you're probably thinking of the Hypertech Power Programmer. I can't think of a time when I've watched PowerBlock TV and not seen an ad for this thing.
  23. For $500, your car is probably a gold mine for anyone who's looking for a cheap ride to throw some money at. My dad probably would have been all over that when we were looking for first cars. I've scoured a couple of websites, and a master overhaul kit (Pistons, Rings, Gaskets, Cam Bearings, Rod Bearings, Main Bearings, Oil Pump, Freeze Plugs, Camshaft, Lifters, Pre-lube, and Timing Set, and Valley Pan (if applicable) for the '95 quad 4 is around $700. So, for $1200 and some blood, sweat and tears, they'll get a good looking car with what is essentially a brand new engine.
  24. I missed it this past year b/d my mom was in the hospital having knee surgery. I'll be back for next year though. I usually go the Friday or Saturday before it closes. Come to think of it, this past year was a bust for me...I didn't make a single show or cruise night.
  25. No thanks on anything that looks like that SEMA GTO. However, the current body in orange with a black stripe along the beltline, some chrome wheels, and the LS7 would make a spectacular Judge :D
