  1. That's exactly what I was thinking...I hate how Maryland mandates them. I like the STS as well.
  2. I always thought that the LeMans was considered an A-body, and the Grand Prix was a G-body. At any rate, I was talking abou this B-body Impala SS-based El Camino:
  3. Wow...I didn't know that a B-body El Camino existed outside of my imagination. Sweet. The blue '59 Buick's a feast for the eyes as well.
  4. I wouldn't call the Lucerne a bad car, but if you gave me the choice between one and a WM Park Avenue...that would be an obscenely easy decision to make, IMO.
  5. Toyota Previa (the other day while coming home from our Weis, I saw a Previa with a pair of antlers attatched to it, sort of like the ones my uncle has over his hearth. I really wished that I had my camera with me...)
  6. My parents have a conference in Virginia Beach that weekend, so I won't be there. Oh well, there's always next year.
  7. '81 Jaguar: smells like old leather, a more strong smell than a bad one. It dissipates after a drive with the windows down and sunroof open. Sonoma: even though we bought it with ~4,000 miles on the clock, it smelled (and still sort of does, to a degree) like a new car. Venture: antifreeze, courtesy of the head gasket and intake manifold going sour. '78 Datsun: generic cleaning solution and pine (it got new floorboards in the loft and WC) '91 Explorer: it smelled like a Ford...that's the best description for it.
  8. My alliegences will switch over to Audi full-time if this car is indicative for the future of BMW. It's not bad...just cold and strange-looking...it has a sizeable front overhang for a RWD car.
  9. I am liberal with the gas pedal when getting the car up to speed. I will put the pedal to the floor when getting on an expressway (traffic permitting). I give the car plenty of gas when accelerating from a stop, though I do back off once I'm at the limit (which I generally add 5 to). I can't help it...I like the forward surge and the accompanying engine sounds.
  10. Sign me up for the festivities as well! While I don't harbor anything against them (everyone I know who's owned one says that they're pretty reliable), I will gladly be the one to pull the trigger so Zeta can take over Oshawa.
  11. Haha no kidding..."hot" wouldn't be the word I'd use to describe him.
  12. I love the idea, but based on this photo, I'm not sold on the result (less rear window and more trunk for starters). Some more pictures would be nice.
  13. A guy in a Camry did the same thing at the McDonalds on Route 404 in Denton.
  14. My dad gave the big "F-U" to our plans of visiting my aunt and uncle, and therefore, this year's Carlisle. "Your aunt and uncle aren't going anywhere, we can see them the next weekend..." Uh-huh.
  15. Winding Road ------------------- Not bad at all, IMO.
  16. For me, while in the car:The wipers have be seated when I turn the car off (the concealed wipers on the Venture have to be all the way down) water may not touch the leather seats eating is allowed only when the car is already dirty inside I control the radio doors are locked when the vehicle is not in use The DIC must be set to the compass/outside temp display at all times (unless clearing fuel/speed data after a fill-up) I turn the volume on the radio down when merging onto an expressway or flooring it to take in the engine note My biggest non-vehicluar quirk is during the school day, I'll check my backpack several times during the course of the day to make sure my iPod is in there, or my pocket if I'm wearing cargo pants.
  17. He did what now? I must've missed this... Hoax or not...it's hilarious imagining what might have took place.
  18. I've always loved these Cutlasses...
  19. Agreed...wrap-around dashes rock. I don't know why they seemed to disappear after the 90s.
  20. I like it in the middle as well. I can't fall asleep on a really firm mattress, and I can't stay asleep on a really soft mattress.
