  1. Sehr gut, Herr Börger! Congrats on the new ride, YJ.
  2. If Cadillac can best USAA in this survey, the results would really speak for themselves. My parents' company gets a lot of work from USAA...they're fiercely protective of their clients and will do what is needed to keep them happy. Still, impressive work.
  3. Central Maryland was put under a tornado watch this afternoon, which turned into a tornado warning later in the evening...that was fun. Other than that, my day wasn't bad. I basically lounged around the house after sleeping in until 11:55. Hope y'all had a good 4th!
  4. May I suggest Baltimore? Silver Spring or Bethesda would be good options as well.
  5. Since the waters of Ocean City are full of Yamaha Waverunners, Honda Aquatraxes, and Sea-Doos, I'd say go with one of them. As far as pricing goes, Sea-Doos are the pricier ones, but I think that they have more seating capacities and power. Our Venture LT AWD managed to trailer our 16' boat, so your Equinox will be able to handle a jet ski.
  6. Like Screaming Trees said, the roads around DC most definitely do need some sort of more stringent speeding policy. Unless it's on I-295 (a road where going the posted speed limit--50--is a very unsafe thing to do), if you're caught doing 70 on a 55, there should be points involved. The roads around here get entirely too clogged and dangerous for that type of driving. However, while I feel that nailing the excessive speeders is a worth-while task, an equal amount of (if not more!) energy should be invested in ticketing aggressive/distracted/impared drivers. I'm still amazed at how many people are able to swerve, weave, tailgate, and cut you off while going at or within 5 MPH the posted limit.
  7. Meh...it's ok. The front is good. But the beltline is too low, and the rear seems like it was snubbed off. Interior-wise, the center stack is really the only thing that doesn't look good. I like the 2-tone.
  8. I like it...it reminds me of a baby E92.
  9. I'm so sorry to hear that, PCS. Best wishes to you and your wife.
  10. I find thick-crusted pizza too filling, so I generally go for the thinner crust.
  11. 2002 Express Explorer Limited SE conversion van 2003 Venture LS 2003 Suburban 1500 LT 4x4 2003 Venture LT AWD (exactly the same as the one we have now, only Redfire instead of black)
  12. Continue Reading @ The Car Connection
  13. Your friend eliminated 3 of the 4 I'd choose (SRX, X5, Enclave). The only other one I'd want to spend my money on would be an Infiniti FX...what's she think of those? I'm none too fond of the way any of the other choices look, but if I had to buy from that list, I'd go with the Q7.
  14. Owned: Chevy x3 ('79 G10 250 I6 van, '87 Celebrity EuroSport 2.8L V6, '03 Venture LT AWD) GMC x1 ('02 Sonoma ZR5)
  15. "I think we need a bigger boat."
  16. Same here, though I must say I've become a little less shy since I've come out to a few of my friends.
  17. That sounds amazing. Not only can you have your CTS-D...you can drive it on the Autobahn. Best of luck with everything!
  18. Would any of these be suitable? "PWNSTANG" "KILLYOTA" (alternatively, "KILLRICE") "V8 > I4" "CHEVYFTW"
