  1. Very Very Very Very Good Commercial!
  2. Funny... I've watched it twice. Loved it.
  3. Yeeea. Pretty sure he was joking. Thank you.
  4. Isn't Jürgen Schrempp available???
  5. Eh... The ES is adopting L-Finesse, and won't look like that by the time the LaCrosse Super comes out. Personally, I like the current ES styling better than where it's heading. I just don't care for the interior in new one.
  6. Yeah... I'm sure Consumer Reports will still rate the RL above average in reliability.
  7. It's a beautiful car... if only it weren't the diesel:
  8. There are sacrifices inherent to the RL just based on the segment, and vehicles within, that it attempts to compete with.
  9. I'll have to agree 100% also.
  10. The 2005 LaCrosse and 2006 Lucerne launch delays were a result from preventing GM making an even greater mistake: coming out with the underwhelming, flawed, and "on time" 2004 Regal & 2005 LeSabre. The delay was minimal compared to what could have happened.
  11. Redirecting the Traffic http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...?showtopic=5598
  12. This seems to have Chinese LaCrosse written all over it. I can wish, can't I?
  13. Wait a minute... how is GM not big enough to effect the economy when Toyota is? GM employs far more Americans, sells far more cars, and has far more dealerships in the US than Toyota. EDIT: Didn't see that he was misquoted.

    Good-bye

Take care of yourself. The past several years have been great. Thanks for all the insight and I'll continue to keep an eye out for your quotes and articles in official publications. :AH-HA_wink:
  15. IIRC, GM made it known the wide difference (several billions of dollars) between best & worst case scenarios with Delphi's bankruptcy. I'm sure it has something to do with that.
  16. Yeah... let's highlight and emphasize the reporter instead of what was reported... sheesh. This would have been a nice opportunity to give GM a prop or two.
  17. I don't think that's it either:
  18. Beside the Audio system difference, they don't seem to have any differences when comparing an SL to an SL1 except an SL1 was $700.00 more expensive. The SL1s had more features available than the SL... but nothing really standard to justify the $700 base price increase: SL1s had tan, black & gray available, SL's only had gray interiors SL1s also had more exterior colors available SL1s had an available automatic transmission, SLs only had a standard SL1s had several features optional that weren't available on the SLs:Power sunroof, Sunroof sunshade, Cruise control, Power windows, 1-touch down, Remote keyless entry, Tilt steering wheel, Front reading lights, Power door locks, Ignition disable, Security system, Panic alarm, and Traction control... I'm sure you have something on your mind that must not be obvious.
  19. Fantastic! Great to hear.
  20. One down... if you don't count the Diamante, 3000GT, Montero, etc. I'm sure they've almost burned through their $10 billion infusion. It's only a matter of time.
  21. #5 - Lamborghini Urraco P200 ????
  22. Voted Statesman, because I still believe Buick should keep a 3 sedan line-up. What I wish, Lucerne replacement to come 1-2 years after the Statesman as a less expensive Zeta based vehicle to bridge the price difference between LaCrosse and Statesman.
  23. It's a Hyundai. So is the Atos... but they didn't even bother changing the front badge on the Atos!
  24. Uhm... I'd rather sacrifice the .5 sec 0-60 time and save $6,000 by purchasing the $51k GS430 with 0-60 in 5.7sec with a real trunk. Oh... and the GS430 gets est 18/25. No big change in MPG.
