Insignia & Invicta will both be EpII-based and carry some similar characteristics, however, the styling and details will be unique to both vehicles. The Insignia may match the Invicta in the European market, but it will definitely be positioned above the Saturn version in the US.

I find this hard to believe with Delta II about to debut. edit - - Similar interior pics have been floating around for a year or so. The pics muct be of a current facelift prior to the Delta II-based Excelle replacement. I just find it too hard to believe otherwise. edit 2 - - Isn't the Delta II Excelle replacement suppose to be a 2010 model? So does this mean the Chinese will get the Taiwan facelifted Excelle for 1 year (2009) before the Delta II Excelle replacement (Skylark?) arrives?

100% agree!

Honda is offering special lease 'incentives' for the Accord. They've been doing it (at least in my region) since the new Accord debuted. -
Here are my guesses... With the LaCrosse replacement going into production in 8-9 months, I don't see much changing for LaCrosse. The Lucerne Super's exterior styling will probably become the MCE for the Lucerne CXL (and maybe CX). I don't forsee any other changes before the Lucerne goes out of production in 2010.
-
Eh... No, you're right... not those. Hopefully, the significant changes that I'm looking for will become available at or soon after Beijing. I'm looking for info on the Excelle replacement (2010 Buick Skylark?) and Invicta.
-
With the Lucerne CXS' demise, the Lucerne CXL receives a 'Special Edition' trim with V6 or V8. The only other information that the Buick website provides is that the Lucerne CXL Special Edition will begin at $32,150. I suspect it'll have the Super's front end with flood lights.

I agree... and it appears the seatbelts are still accessible/functional so you can buckle a harness in and secure the pet. I'll have to verify with him if that is the case.

A friend of mine in Texas (he's 30) bought an Impala last month. Interesting case. He traded in his Dodge Ram pick-up of all things. He wanted better gas mileage, but didn't want to feel like he was in a "small" car. Ultimately, the deciding factor was based around his two dogs. The Impala's rear seat flips/folds forward creating a secure, hard-plastic area for the dogs. It's easy to clean and protects the leather. I didn't provide any input on the sale. He made the decision all on his own. He was looking forward to telling me that GM won him over though... lol. I did ask him about the Malibu. It wasn't a consideration because of its size and the folding back seat didn't operate similar to the Impala's. ------ On another note... I've noticed two Impalas in two separate driveways with dealer tags during my commute to work. So the Impala seems to have some consumer appeal.
