Model Curr Yr Pr Yr 300 10,637 10,596 Sales are up this month 300 83,772 84,167 And only slightly down so far compared tolast year's total. That's not much of a "cool off" Still, some models did pathetically, like the Durango, Sebring, Pacifica, and GC. Hopefully the new Sebring and Avenger will help. The refreshed Pacifica will help the brand too. Dunno about the Durango...probably will just keep loosing money.

Hauling or Crawling?: 2006 Honda Ridgeline RTS
Intrepidation replied to regfootball's topic in Honda
Even though the interior of the Ridgeline is based off the concept, it looks boxy and not that pretty, more 90's than anything else. The Avalanche's interior is far better. -
Hauling or Crawling?: 2006 Honda Ridgeline RTS
Intrepidation replied to regfootball's topic in Honda
I really wouldn't call either vehicle a great handler, so saying the Ridgeline handles "better" is like saying an 18-wheeler handles better than a dump truck. The Avalanche's interior is built very well, same with the exterior. Design wise, I think the Avalanche is better looking inside and out, and I'm pretty sure neither truck will set acceleration records, but the Avalanche will do better when you're hauling anything more than a person. Plus Avalanche has a lot of features. So Yeah. -
Customer upset over Taco Bell "sauce wisdoms"
Intrepidation replied to Flybrian's topic in The Lounge
Some people are pretty f@#king stupid. But ya know what they say "God loves stupid people, that's why he made so many." -
As I recall, you were being "criticized" for wanting a BMW, there wasn't any criticizm reguarding a 4 cylinder w/ a manual. I also agree that 23-26 mpg is great for a big car, and that you might get even better gas milage if you drove it like a sane person.

Exterior...I like the new shape, a million times better than the exterior of the current Silverado, but the all crome front end is a bit much, I wannna see it body color. The Sierra's front end looks a bit like the first gen Escalade, but still good. Interior...well the one unique to the truck is ok, but not anything special, however I'm very happy too see the Tahoe's interior in there...looks great. I still liks the F-150's a little better, bt not by much.

That is a sexy beast!

retro is the last thing the koreans should be doing
-
Yeah, but the CTS still looks nice on the outside...can't say the same for the current Malibu
-
Then this is one hell of a nicer car the the current ugly Malibu
-
Yeah, I believe the entire image is a 3D render
-
Why does the site where the spyshots are on say it's the Impala if this thread says it's the Malibu? Either way it looks very nice
-
It is an old car, older than the Malibu, so it's little surprise, especially that ugly interior. I personally like the exterior. Hopefully the new Sebring convertible will be a much better car.

reg commented a Hyundai...STOP THE PRESSES!! It does look alright, but the concept was so much cooler

So are you an idiot or a really good actor? `Cuz if you're being serious, I gotta tell you your grammer sucks. If your parents are so "loaded" they should invest in a tutor.

Date posted: 07-29-2006 WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Chrysler Group is recalling 146,195 Jeep Grand Cherokees because cooling-fan blades may break and cause injuries to bystanders if the hood of the vehicle is open. At the same time, Toyota will recall more than 9400 early-model 2007 FJ Cruisers because of potential tire defects. The Jeep recall involves 2000 and 2002 Grand Cherokees with the 4.0-liter 6-cylinder engines. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the automaker collected nearly 200 complaints about broken fans. Chrysler Group will begin a national notification of owners of the Grand Cherokee in August. NHTSA also reported that the inner bead of tires on the FJ Cruiser may be damaged. The recall affects vehicles equipped with Bridgestone or Dunlop tires. If a bead is damaged, a bulge may develop on the sidewall of the tire, and air may leak. NHTSA noted that this is not a tire recall but a Toyota recall. Customers will be instructed to bring the vehicle to their Toyota dealer. What this means to you: If you drive one of the aforementioned vehicles, better get it checked out at the dealership. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/News/articleId=116333

That is exactly what I say whenever I see the new Camry commercials.

I know! And it's not just her car, a friend of mine has a `94 Corolla, he's had to replace the passenger window regulator, the exhaust header, and the clutch reservoir...all within the last year!

After the accident where I was less T-boned by a `93 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Royale, I was talking to one of my firends about how My Dodge Shadow was able to drive away, without any damage beyond the inner and outer fender, whereas the Olds had it's front end smashed in, and the fan was hitting the radiator, parts of it wher all over the ground...and it had to be towed away. his response: "His PoS pissed one your PoS, but your's shit on his PoS"

So here I am with my girlfriend in Wichita, KS for the summer. In May I flew down here, on August 20th, we're gonna driver her car back to Massachusetts. Her car is a 1994 Geo Prism, 1.6, with a 5-speed manual and 164K miles on it. As we know, the Prism is a basically a Toyota Corolla, with a slightly different front and rear end, and different center stack. The body is in great shape, save for a dent in teh passenger fender and a missaligned bumper, but has no rust at all. Sounds like a good car right? WRONG First the timing belt needs to be replaced, second it slips out of 3rd, and won't even go into 4th. Sometimes it won't go into Reverse. We went to Cottman Transmissions to have it looked at. They said the clutch is going and the transmission needs to be repaired or possibly replaced. They said it could easily cost $1000 bucks to fix. Couple that with the timing belt, wich was estimated at $360, and the bill for a car worth about 2 grand is almost 3/4th the value of the car. Add to that, in late June the exhuast system broke just behind the catalytic converter, so it had to be welded back together...which cost a hundred bucks. Her inside driver's handle is broken, the outside one handle is broken clean off, the window regulator on that door is broken, the 2 climate control knobs are broken, and the rear seat belt on the driver's side is f@#ked up. Toyota Quality, my ass. Now, I have to admit, a learned how too drive a manual in her car, she taught me, and I have to admit I like drivving her car, it sounds good, handles well, and is more stable at high speeds than my Shadow, so I do like it, but damn is it a pain in the ass. -- On a side note, my catalytic converter, and it's idle speed fixed...but still...it's older and has way more miles...it's rusty...but it's automatic still works fine, and all the door handles and windows work.

Wow, 2 different interiors, that's pretty cool. I have to say at the moment the Sierra looks better, although the front end looks a lot like the first gen Escalade...am I the only one who thinks so?
-
How about those assholes make a list the worst import vehicles? At least that'd be fair. By only making one for American cars they are clearing being bias.
-
I like it, especially the back, the front isn't bad either, but I think I liked it better before. from the side it reminds me of a better looking Cougar. I like the tC...but it needs more powah, this car too.

in that render it looks too busy and the lines don't match, so hopefully the official one will be more harmonized
