I wonder what Dodge plans to do with the Ram...
-
I actually like the Rav 4...the CR-V is ugly as sin though.
-
It's ok, don't care for the color choice, and in the interior changes aren't really for the better compared to the Antara. It also looks too Foreign...which it is (it's based on the Daewoo SUV badged as the Captiva right?). That being said, it's a step up over the current view in every way. I wanna see it in Red Line trim.
-
Let them test the 5-speed 4 banger Camry that can't get out of it's own way due to programing...or maybe the V6 Camry with a couple gears missing.
-
Why does the Camry get a free pass for using cheap materials? That crap on the A-pillars is the same as the horrible stuff on the upper dash of the Caliber. Sure, it's a place less often touched, but considering the auto journalists bitch about plastics on the lower dash or door panels where no normal person normally feels them up, it irritates me that NO ONE in the automotive journalist world has bitched about that. The Fusion's interior beats this hands down.
-
The hweels still look too small, the Caliber SRT-4 will eat this thing.
-
Dude I was gonna say the same thing! It's too bad Chrysler was never able to build it...I wonder if they'll even build the Firepower....
-
Hmm, that's not a bad pic, actually makes it look alright. However the rear sucks just as bad as the Sebring IMO. I've sat in the new Sebring, the interior materials are fine, only the Fusion beats it (I've sat in that, a Camry, Accord, Aura, and more so I can say this with experience).
-
Nope, they both suck...just the Altima not so much so. Plus the Altima has a nice sedan alternative...the G6 doesn't.
-
Red tail lights...that's unexpected....however based one what I can see...I'm disappointed. The rear is meh...it would have been better if they had just taken the rear doors off and left it as is.
-
I'd like it better if it had the Fusion/Edge/Gillette Mach 3 Grill on it.
-
I like it better than the sedan, and from this angle it actually looks quite good: That said, the Eos looks nicer and so does the C70. However IMO it looks way better than the G6 vert...not that it takes much.
-
I only wish the darker brown was on the production model..and maybe the leather stitching. Other than that, sweet.
-
Not so much a Hummer as a Mars rover.
-
The XR's contemporary multivalve V6 revs more eagerly and delivers plenty of power. In fact, the 3.6L engine has such verve that it's a little too easy to spin the front wheels, despite the traction and stability-control systems That's just a stupid complaint. It's like they're bitching cuz it has too much power. Don't slam the gas if you don't want to spin the tires f@#ktards!
-
I like everything but the tail lights. I love the interior and I love that front end...it looks mean instead of sad like the current Mustang.

Pretty damn close! Nice job GM...finally a modern Buick that people besides seniors will want!
-
Aww, no SLS interior for us
-
that thing looks sweet!

I actually did have a look at a 95 Maxima, but it had more than 200k miles on it, and the interior needed work.

So my girlfriend and I decided to check out an auto auction, since I'min the market for a new car...I figured why not. There were plenty of cars there, some were great and some were not so great...and one died on me (`98 Plymouth Voyager's tranny gave out...it got left in the middle of the parking lot). I had fun test driving the assortment of vehicles, and among them were 2 Mazda Millenias. The First Millenia: I must it admit, it is a very nice looking car in person, and it had a very nice set of wheels. It was bluish/green. It had plenty of nice features like power everything, leather, and automatic climate control. The first problem I saw was that the cup holders would not stay closed/hidden. No biggie... Later I came by with the keys to it and started it up. Next problem: there was a knocking sound coming from the engine. I figured, what the hell, I'll drive it anyway. The steering was way too light, the gas peddle was way to hard and the brake peddle was way too soft and mushy. I popped the hood and saw oil on the top of the engine...signifying a leak...it was a real piece of junk. In it's defense it had 223k miles on it...but still. The second one I drove was a refreshed Millenia. This car was in much better shape. It ran well, accelerated smartly and nothing seemed broke. No leaks either. The steering was better weighted, and the peddles felt better too. The guages wre much nicer as well. Indeed, it was a damn nice car. This car had 128k miles on it, and was in excellent condition. The first one actually sold for 2,800...I get the feeling not enough people looked at it closely. The second one didn't sell cuz the dealer wanted more than what people were offering. So my thoughts? That interior BV brags so much about..isn't all it's cracked up to be. Granted, the controls are nice, the stereo is classy, and so is the shifter and the steering wheel, which is very nice to hold. The dash however, was not so great. While the materials were indeed "soft" touch, they were far from "velvet" In fact, they didn't feel very nice...kinda rough to the touch. The door armrests were leather covered, but they were very firm and not nearly as soft as I would have expected/liked. I sat in several other cars, and I gotta say, the dash and armrests on an `00 Intrepid I sat in were nicer to touch (if a bit shiny). So in short, nice car, but the interior materials ain't all they're cracked up to be. Sorry BV Oh yeah, that driver's door armrest opens to reveal a storage compartment...that was pretty nifty!

Blah, I don't like it...th SLS looks much better, as does the 300C L. It looks fat and the huge C-Pillar doesn't help.
-
I could live with it being a Breeze...especially that really nice one.
-
Well manual is always an option, but since we have the Prizm, which has been bestowed with a new tranny, I can go with either manual or auto. As for RWD...find me a 300ZX in good shape for under 3k and around here, and I'll buy that in a heartbeat... Otherwise I want good, practical transportation. Neons and Stratus' are fairly sporty and stable on the highway (at least the Stratus is), the Stratus is roomy and it's handsome for it's age...and good on gas. I'm considering an Intrepid cuz it's roomy, and looks nice. Don't really want a Buick or an Olds unless it was the Aurora. -- There's an auction going on Wednesday not far from my house, some of the cars look nice. I saw a couple Maximas, a Stratus and a couple Intrepids. Gonna check them out and test drive them and if it looks promising, I'll try bidding. It's too bad they don't have an previous gen Grand Prix's or I'd consider them...but all they have is a Grand Am...meh
-
Yeah I have actually...Though I haven't seen any for sale recently in my area lately...and I know I can't go over 3k. Maybe I'll have a look at Auto Trader...
