Well considering you bashed the Volt already and critize GM on most every post I've seen so far, I guess you're part way there.
-
Wow...just aweful.

The main difference with the LX's is the gauge shield and the gauges...and that is the the main difference between the Caliber and the Patriot/Compass. It's really no worse than the Cobalt/G5 or Torrent/Equinox (which have almost no differentiation). As for the interiors themselves...they're cheap...the Chill Zone lid doesn't stay up on it's own.
-
You're not serious are you? Interiors are extremely important. A lot of people buy cars because of how nice the interior is...since that's where they spend all there time. The Accord's interior is far better in terms of design and materials. It's still one of the best if not the best in the class. And let's not forget...the Camry uses the same stuff from the Caliber's dash for the A-pillars. Gross.

Right, but now the build cars people actually want and that are competetive.

Fullsize P/U Comparison: Toyota vs. Chevy vs. Nissan

I was wondering...could the Allison 6-speed the Duramax uses be fitted to the V8's? Or is it not compatable? -
Razor Redux: Dodge readies Solstice fighter
Intrepidation replied to sciguy_0504's topic in Chrysler
They said it will have "some" traits of the Razor...but hopefully they make it look better...I never cared for it. Also I hope that unlike teh concept, this is designed with a radio and A/C in mind. I think it's cool that they are going to make a roadster, but like CSpec said, it's somewhat surprising. -
The old Saturn may be "dead" but the new one hass GM's first vehicle that can beat the Camry...how many GM models can say that? Plu sthere's the Outlook, which is best in class along with it's siblings. Plus they're all lookers...I won't miss the "old" Saturn much. And since when did Saturn have "soul"? Not until the Sky IMO.
-
Very positive review, and probbaly the first time a domestic has beat the Camry. The only thing I want to point out in the article is this: Reliablity has always been Toyota's strong suit, but look at consumer reviews of the Camry, and reliablity seems to be slipping (especially with the transmission and interior).

That's impressive and scarey atthe same time!

The 3-door is one of if not the best looking 3-door hatchbacks on the market. It looks to be quite a good car for Saturn, and with any luck the Saturn version won't change much besides the badge and probably the stereo unit. The 5-door is a good idea, but hopefully the sedan will make its way here soon. My only concern is the RL. As They've mentioned, the Astra OPC is a power monster, but it's platform isn't can't handle it. The Delta platforms are technically more sophisticated aren;'t they? What's the Astra's platform called?

Yeah man, don't stop posting these things because of some n00b. The rest of us value you it and know that you wouldn't post BS.

I'm not a fan of the big butt it gets as a result of the hard top configuration...but it's a great car nonetheless.

That's good taht it was nothing too serious...I had a battery issue with the Intrepid. I was lucky to get it started and drive the 30 minute commute home. Turned out in addition to corrosion on one of the terminals it was putting out a faction of what it's supposed to. Had it replaced and things have been going fine. At least the Venture broke down at the dealership and not the middle of nowhere...fine place to have a breakdown

Sometimes that's the smartest thing peopel can do...too bad they usually don't.

Well, you bring up a valid point for RWD, but RWD has it's disadvantages too. With RWD, all of the weight is in the front, and there is little weight in the back. This makes it harder for the rear wheels to gain traction. Throwing the back out may be good for some situations but not all. With FWD, the weight is on the wheels that put the power down, making it easier for them to gain traction. This advantage is very noticeable on hills. I've seen many FWD cars make it up the hill while most RWD either struggle or don't make it (like a 3rd gen Firebird I once saw attempt to come up my hill).
-
+1 ...But that is funny
-
Don't forget that FWD and AWD are generally superior to RWD in the snow. I know this from experience...plus it's common sense. Still, it doesn't matter what wheels are doing the driving if the driver is a moron. This sorta thing happens every time we get the first big snowfall. It's like everyone has forgotten how to drive in the winter and needs a storm or 2 to remember. In teh meantime they fly along thinking the roads are dry and clear. They also probably don't know what L is for.
-
Don't forget amount the subtle, yet expensive modifications GM is making to teh Zeta platform for the Camaro, so it will look identical to the concept.

I decided to have newegg replace it for me, since their RMA system is much better than Silverstone's. Plus I know they'll be fast. My system uses a pretty good amount of power, hence the need for a 600W PSU. Electrical shouldn't be an issue, and the fact that this PSU has been known to fail recently seems to back up my idea that there's a flaw in the PSU. I'll use the new one for now, but I'll by another PSU once I've got my school expenses out of the way. Dude...MACs are horrible machines. They crash their programs without warning...regularly. They're a pain in the ass to navigate and do simple commands that PC's do with easy. Also, they aren't as good for gaming (unless the have windows on them...then I dunno). PC's are great...yeah I have an issue with my PSU...but the rest the thing is super fast, powerful, and stable. It outperforms the G5's at the university by a lot...there's no comparison. Plus, they're easier to upgrade.

It looks pretty sweet and much more upmarket than the old Lancer did. The Ralliart should be very nice and the Evo X should be out-of-this-world.

It's just like at any job...some things are meant to stay within the company...release too many details and you're liable to get fired. ----- It's common knowledge that most people perceive Japanese vehicles (namely Toyota and Honda) to be reliable, well built (although with the recent issues that Toyota is having, that is subject to change) cars that lack the striking design many American manufacturers put out. This is of course, subjective, but by and large most people think of them as bland. To compare with a few examples: there is the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry VS the Dodge Charger, Saturn Aura, and NG Malibu. In the SUV department there is the Toyota Sequoia VS the Tahoe and Expedition. In the compact SUV/CUV department there's the CR-V VS the Nitro. In the roadster department there is the S2000 VS the Sky and Solstice. Then there's cars the Japanese can't even compete with (meaning they don't have a vehicle in the segment) like the Viper, Corvette, Mustang, and Camaro. Many of them can be regarded as show stoppers...when's the last time a Japanese car stole the show? As far as "refuse to try" maybe he meant that for so long, Honda (and Toyota) have sold their cars on quality and reliability that there's been no need to try designing an exciting car...but now that is changing as the quality gap closes. If the domestics are truly closing the quality gap as much they seem to be, than that nullifies Honda's (and Toyota's) biggest selling point, and combined with designs that most people find more exciting, Japan Inc. had better be worried.

Fullsize P/U Comparison: Toyota vs. Chevy vs. Nissan

Shifts are so seamless you hardly notice the Camry missing gears. -
That's the current Pilot.

Yeah, this PSU is supposed to have oversurge protection, so nothing else should be damaged (I hope). It's just a very annoying inconvenience. Never buy a Silverstone product
