Hey those are pretty nice, especially the mouse. It looks very cool with the blue LEDs, and teh keyboard looks slick too, but the it's not as cool as the G15 :AH-HA_wink:

Poor rabbit but man what a sight that musta been! You know what I hate? Those stupid Sparrows, they're like Kamikazes..waiting until just before you get to where they are then they fly in front of you across the road at low level..because they are either too damn stupid to fly 5 feet higher over the oncoming mass or they all have a death wish. Haven't hit one yet but I won't feel bad if I do...they're asking for it I swear! Ina ll seriousness, I don't like the idea of hitting an animal, and I've been fortunate enough not to hit a live one (although I've run over a few dead ones by accident). The worst thing is seeing a pet that's been hit.

(I'm bored) What type of computer mouse do you currently use and do you want to upgrade it...if so to what? I currently have a Logitech Cordless Click! Plus mouse. It's a pretty nice mouse but I've noticed lately that it has to be closer to the wireless receiver in order to work well...probably age. I'm dying to get an MX Revolution though, it's a sexy mouse with awesome feel and precision...plus it'll match the rest of my Desktop...black and silver :3 On a side note, I dislike all of Microsuck's mice products...they feel cheaper than Logitech, both in terms of materials and most noticeably the wheel. It has no precision and feels rubbery and cheap. As for keyboard, I have a Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard. Best Keyboard on the market IMHO (especially if you're gamer)

Updated Indian Chevrolet Optra Magnum TCDi
Intrepidation replied to Oracle of Delphi's topic in Chevrolet
Bleh, it's just a Suzuki...and not a very pretty one at that. Glad we've got the Cobalt. -
Can't say. I have a friend who has a Cavalier but I don't know if it has an Ecotec in it. If it is an Ecotec then it's noisy, raspy, and unrefined, but reasonably powerful for a 4-banger. I'll give Toyota a nod though, the 1.6 is a much better sounding/more refined engine overall (but that damn exhaust manifold...*shakes fist*)

I'm sure you can find a tranny for cheap.

On another note, the local dealer can't seem to keep their Avengers in stock.

Did I mention my ass can barely contain itself?

3 Avengers (in one day): light blue SXT, dark blue R/T, and an inferno red SXT a black MKX a buttload of Edges (they are everywhere!) a black Nitro R/T a gray Aura

OH TEH NOES!

The interior is redeeming in its functionality, like other Chrysler products, the interiors partly redeems themselves by being very functional. Examples: Load `n Go, Stow `n Go, Swivel `n Go, LED flashlight, MyGig, heated/cooled cupholders, Chill Zone, array of storage bins, etc.

There are valid points, they should be aiming for the top not the middle. However it's not like GM or Ford hadn't said their past efforts sucked. The differences that we're seeing progress from GM and Ford right now, while Chrysler's products that we see may have been too far down the pipeline to fix..does it excuse them? No. But to say they have no business making cars isn't right either. They make some damn good cars, we'll mention the LX cars, the Ram (it only seems old now because it is), the minivans, the Pacifica, etc. They do know how to do it right, they've just lost there way lately. However, I'm not ready to call them down for the count until I see the new Ram, because from the information we've got so far and the images being resented, it should be very, very good. As for the Hyundai knock...their exteriors still suck for the most part, but that's not what the firm helped them with...they helped them with interiors.

Styling is subjective. I personally think the Caliber looks great on the outside and looks fine on the inside. What it needs is a materials overall, a suspension tune-up and a real automatic..Ditch the CVT and give SE and SXT 4-speeds and give the R/T a 6-speed (there ya go, an easy way to have a class-leading powertrain). The Patriot is fine, it just needs a materials update like the Caliber. But I agree, drop the Compass...it doesn't sell enough to justify it's existence. I happen to love the post MCE look of the Durango...I've always liked the body just thought it needed a nose job..and that's what they gave it. It needs a new interior, that's it's main problem now. The Nitro should be body color on all trim levels, and should get a returned suspension and new interior. The Sebring...honestly the front could be left alone, juts make the roofline more graceful and fix the rear and it would look fine. Interior designs could use improvement in a unch of vehicles, but I like the designs of the Sebring and Avenger. They're believably different and both look good IMO. Materials need to be improved.

Hopefully the bring it, it's one of the best looking subcompacts I think. -
The problem is that the Camry is selling about 5 times that. While I think the Sebring's interior design isn't bad, the materials could certainly use some work. All of Chrysler's interiors need a lot of work. It's a no brainer that they all need improvements, even those that are good still could use improvements. Exterior styling is subjective, a lot of people seem to like it (it's OK, but not my thing), and the Nitro is definitely got the exterior styling down, but they both need better driving dynamics and refinement. Why is it so hard to put the Avenger R/t's suspension setup into the Sebring, and why is the R/T the only Avenger that has good handling? The problem Chrysler as well Ford and GM have long had is aiming too low, either at the current competition or not even as good as them. they must aim at the future, to be better, not just as good. This group that they hired seems promising, as Hyundai's interiors have improved immensely in only a few years. The integrated center stack, attractive designs and good materials are huge improvements over not so long ago. If they can do that for Hyundai, they should be able to do wonders for Chrysler. Its nice to see Chrysler is at least admitting their mistakes, not making excuses for it. Now if they can act on it, we'll see some real progress.

Well excuse me, I didn't know it was available on small cars. That's cool, air filters are nice for people who have allergies. I didn't know they were available on low priced cars (I don't keep track of what car has an air filter).

So what sort of repairs did you have to do to the car Jason? Also, did you consider trying to sell it on ebay?

Kudos to Honda for being the first one to bring a diesel sedan to this market...hopefully other will follow. Urea, which is an extract from urine, is also an additive for processed beef products like what you'll find at McDonald's or Burger King. It ads "color, flavor, and juiciness". Just a fun fact

GM sweeps Ward's Interior of the Year awards
Intrepidation replied to ZL-1's topic in General Motors
Some of this surprised me, some of it didn't. Surprises: Not a signal Toyota product on the list (best surprise of them all) The Caliber won a best interior award. But, as some have mentioned, it is extremely functional and makes great use of teh space it is given. In the compact class, that counts for more than materials quality. Plus, fit `n finish is very good in these things. The Sebring won an award (I'm surprised Chrysler won awards period). The cupholders seem liek a novelty...but the idea of keeping your drink hot or cold is sweet and no one in the price range offers it besides the Avenger. The Aura won...because I think Honda has a better interior still, but I'm not upset Not Surprised The Camry lost. It has some materials you'll find in a Caliber, it also has lousy fit `n finish from the one I sat in and from some others have mentioned as well The SRX won...it looks amazing with the new interior, it's one of the best CUVs on the market...if only GM would tell the world... -
Have you ever seen the Japanese Yaris commercial where they have people doing the work of the engine, wipers and so on? They put of few of those guys in there. :AH-HA_wink:

Using 2 vehicles of the same color isn't an accurate or credible means of saying they look similar..plus the 2 yellows are different hues Also, the tail lights, and exhaust pipes are a clue that you may be looking at a car's ass not it's nose. Still, if you see a Ferrari in a Saab that's not an insult to the Saab!
