  1. Intrepidation

    iPhone

The G5s I use at school freeze quite a bit...a trend I found with most Macs I've come n contact with. Likewise, I have never run into a Windows XP machine that the OS froze up.
  2. My mom would love a big Caddy...even if you had to add oil to it. I forget, how bad does it leak/burn?
  3. bowtie_dude, I think the RL has a cool interior design too...I wish the exterior was as expressive as the exterior was as expressive as the interior. I guess it has the staggered dash design though
  4. I love the CTS's design...and it also has integrated controls...it makes the car's interior unique and special.
  5. They handle very well for such large cars...well weighted, communicative steering, great breaks with good pedal feel, well modulated gas pedal, and excellent suspension tuning that absorbs bumps and assorted road imperfections but at the same time has well controlled body roll. Sports Sedan is the phrase Sixxty8 used Sorry to hijack the thread! In the case of the DTS, as moving the front wheels forward does wonders for the proportions of the car.
  6. They are very nice too...well except how the door panels don't match There's something to be said about the way Toyota (along with Honda and some other brands) integrate their buttons, knobs, and displays into the dash...and look different from vehicle to vehicle...as opposed to the same square set of controls and stereos appearing in every car.
  7. Funny you should say that about black Intrepids. I love black cars, my next one will probably be one...and black looks good on any car...but for some reason it just doesn't look right on Intrepids, except the one I posted. I'm not sure...maybe it's that the factory black looks more like a dark, dark gray than a pure black. The one I posted was repainted...so maybe they used a deeper black. Maybe the black fades on Intrepids? I dunno...it's weird. I love Intrepids (like no one noticed ). IMO, they are the best looking of the LH models...with the 300M in 2nd place. I lalso ove the Aurora, 1st or 2nd generation..both are sleek and look good from any angle. I still think the 2nd gen Aurora is one of GM's best midsize sedans.
  8. That's because most cameras, including mine, suck. You need a high megapixel camera to get good quality photos, and a lot of people don't have them. Oh, that, and TURN THE BLOODY FLASH OFF!!!! And in their defense, it's not like GM, Chrysler, and Ford haven't turned out their share of crap and poor quality photos. Most car interiors look like ass when taken with a camera that isn't good.
  9. Yeah I know...but take a look anyway
  10. Most people who like the PT seem to hate the styling of the HHR...dunno why. I like them both, but I like the PT's more distinctive interior. It has personality...whereas the HHR's looks pretty generic. Other wins for the PT are: Turbo model (although the HHR Sport is coming) Better road manners (so I've heard, agan, the HHR Sport may remedy this) But the biggest win is the choice of a convertible...it just doesn't exist in the HHR lineup. The PT also starts at $15,530, while the HHR starts at $16,595. The PT gets more expensive, especially in GT trim, but then it gets you the turbo. This gets you 230 hp and 245 ft-lbs torque VS the HHR's current best engines ratings of 175 hp and 163 ft-lbs torque...and according to the comparison...you can only get the 2.4 as a panel? o_O? The PT also has "little wins" like Universal Remote Transmitter Rear ventilation ducts Cargo Area Trunk Lights 4 Wheel disc brakes (according to this the HHR has rear drums) Rolling Code Security Key Dual illuminated vanity mirrors 2 One-Touch Power Windows Not having electric steering UConnect® Hands-Free Communication The HHR has its own set of wins like: 260 watt audio system Daytime Running Lights Automatic On/Off Headlights OnStar Stolen Vehicle Tracking Radio Anti-Theft Remote Door Unlock Emergency Services Roadside Assistance Hands-Free, Voice-Activated Phone One thing that is interesting to note is that, despite the HRR's larger size, only Front Head Room is better than the PT
  11. Not all FWD cars have huge overhangs and not all RWD cars have tiny overhangs, as clearly shown Not all FWD cars have bad proportions
  12. Well the current one doesn't.
  13. The blue AVenger is an illustratio, the Compass is bad photoshop, the rest are straight photos It's all about the camera angles. The wrong angle can make any car look like crap...just ask GM photography Also, most of these look better in the real world (except the Compass)...plus you used the base Avenger and Sebring.
  14. It looks pudgy, especially around back, but it may be the camo...otherwise it looks ok from what I can tell...but I swear if it has bulging lights like every other f***ing Toyota lately, I will set one on fire and run the guy who designed it over with a Tahoe.
  15. What for under 20k (like 5 bucks under) had more horsepower than the SRT4 at that time? No being a smartass, I honestly don't know. I know it was bumped up in price when they made the diff standard, but since most people were adding the diff anyway, it seems worth the extra grand or so.
  16. Higher beltline, shorter glass, wheels pushed out to corners, wheels coming out to the edge of wheel well s as opposed to being tucked inside.
  17. Dude, it looks like a butt hole opening to take a crap!
  18. I love the Avenger...and yeah using the base models is a great way to make a car look bad...but yeah the Avenger is 78% fleet...
  19. Sounds awesome! I hope to hell that the AM3 will fit on the AM2 socket...so my motherboard can be reused. I'm looking to do upgrades to my comp as well as my gf's comp as soon as we can. I want more power, to play even better games. I'm still on the fence about Vista...on the one hand it's a security whore...Microsuck made it a security freak instead of making the OS itself less susceptible to viruses. Still newer games will be designed for Vista, and with Vista you can make better use of 64 bit processing...so I dunno. Anyway congrats on your new comp!
  20. uh dude, i still want the datsun, if you'd answer your phone we can figure a way to get it over here. i'm serious.
  21. I think they offer dark gray/light gray too...see the difference? Well look at that, they are reflectors...the exhaust pipe is kinda hidden on the lower right below the bumper...sneaky bastards!
  22. I've seen them on all kinds of cars, including a last gen Grand Prix. The best one I've seen thus far were a set of ventiports on a dark blue 300C...they were kinda shaped like arrow heads. That car had polished trim around the tail lights, and handsome multi spoke wheels. Sixty8 and I joked during the road trip that the Intrepid should have some put on it...but for functional reasons...so they'd have to actually work and not be nothing more than badges. It gets toasty in the engine bay.
  23. Pretty original to me. We go over this time and time again, and I suppose we need to go over it once more. The Challenger was designed the way it was because of the Charger. When the Charger debuted there was bitching and moaning that it wasn't retro, wasn't a coupe, and didn't "look like a Charger" (although this is the best looking Charger IMO). To appease these people, who want a retro, 2-door muscle car that "looks like it should" they created this. It's everything the Charger isn't in terms of design, and what people wanted. In addition, (including people on this very thread)consider it to be excellent looking, carrying the spirit of the Challenger, with odern proportions. It isn't a carbon copy of the original. It's very retro to be sure, but the proportions are very modern, as is the [concept's] interior. So, for those who want a modern, practical muscle car, we have the Charger, and for those who want a retro, 2-door muscle car, we have teh Charger. I for one love both the Camaro and Challenger designs, for different reasons. I love Chevrolet's modern take on the car, but I love Dodge's retro take on the Challenger. They took different takes on their icons, and neither one is bad.
  24. Erm, well they are pretty easy to obtain if you actually go to the edmunds review, click the galley, and right click :copy image location: then add image tags before and after the pasted selection...that's where a lot of people get their photos to post from. Edmunds, if nothing else, has good photography. http://a332.g.akamai.net/f/332/936/12h/www...rid.int.500.jpg http://a332.g.akamai.net/f/332/936/12h/www...brid.ip.500.jpg
  25. So what did they actually crush instead of a yellow Cobalt?
