Its worth noting that there are only 3 main automotive battery manufacturers in the US: Delphi, Exide and Johnson Controls. For example, Duralast, Autocraft, and Interstate batteries are all made by Johnson Controls. Of course not all batteries are created equal, and there's a reason why different tiers of a brand cost more (Economy, Silver, Gold, Platinum, etc).

Dodge News: Rumorpile: Farewell Dodge Caravan?
Intrepidation replied to William Maley's topic in Dodge
Utterly stupid. -
And that's why there was such a huge backlash against Microsoft to the point where they had no choice but to pull their heads out of their asses. Good for them for at least doing that, but they still made a PR nightmare for themselves that shouldn't have existed, and they should never have tried to do it in the first place. What EA did with Simcity 5 is just further proof that EA is a bunch of ass grabbing butt monkeys.

Well, they can watch this then:

That sounds like the best use for Call of Duty.

Is that game still being played???? I thought it died years ago. Course I moved onto first person shooters and never did return to the peace. Kill them, Kill them all! Clearly the reference was lost to you. Go look it up to see the relevance to the subject. Is that game still being played???? I thought it died years ago. Course I moved onto first person shooters and never did return to the peace. Kill them, Kill them all! >First Person Shooters on console>2013 ishygddt This.

Will it be like how wrong EA was to make Simcity 5 always online?

Why yes I do, actually.

The Kinect is a revolutionary jump forward when it came out Sure if you forget the fact the Nintendo did the whole motion capture thing first. The ability to interact with the games without having to have a control in your hands is part of the future Yes, because when I want to play a game I want with wave my hands around like an idiot. Kinect will be supplementary at best, even Microsoft's own E3 conference mentioned very little of it when they were discussing games, because they know gamers aren't interested. You know what works really well for playing games? A controller. Kinect might be useful for supplementary controls, like waving a squad to move forward, etc. (although you'd still look like a tool), but it shou;dn't be required, always on, an adding an extra $100 to the price of the console. The console was very clearly designed with big corporations in mind, otherwise they wouldn't make people jump through hoops and pay a fee to play used games. When I actually played consoles, my friends and I would often borrow games from each other to play. Good luck doing that with Xbone. Meanwhile. Sony assured people that they would never do such a thing, that you don't need an internet connection to play single player games (what a concept), and commitment to supporting indie developers. As for online support, Live is better than PSN and the one area PSN+ will need to really work on. With the current gen consoles I prefer the 360, but with this new gen, as of right now, and until Microsoft pulls their heads firmly out of their asses, my money's on the PS4.

Even better than the Kevin Butler ads.

Sony;s got used game support, $399 price, and what appears to be better launch titles. We'll see. Then again my newest console is an original Xbox. I use a PC.

I guess you could say it's not your forte. I like it though, sharp looking car.

Answers that question.

I'm interested in the upcoming Motorola Moto X. It's supposed to be a pretty neat phone, plus it'll be the first smartphone to be made in the US.

Chevrolet News:Revealed! 2014 Chevrolet Malibu
Intrepidation replied to William Maley's topic in Chevrolet
Well then I guess by Honda's got everyone beat. I find a console lever much better than a floor mounted one. Firstly, most floor mounted ones have a pedal and a separate release = more parts whereas the console lever is one unit. Secondly, its much more convenient having it at right at hand level near the shifter than having to reach down for the release every time you use it. If you live on a hilly area and use it a lot, that would be inconvenient. I know, I used to live in such an area. Its not as big of a deal in an automatic since it gets used less, but I think it looks nice and is more functional regardless. Couldn't imagine having a floor mounted parking brake on anything with a manual. This particular lever is nicely trimmed too. And sure, if you use it at the construction site like a truck or never bathe, or are a slob and spill things all the time or insist n eating that Triple Whopper with extra sauce in the car, then yes it'll get dirty, but then so will anything else in the interior, including the floor pedal and hand release for a floor mounted parking brake. They making interior care products for a reason. -

Chevrolet News:Revealed! 2014 Chevrolet Malibu

I like the new face better than the old one, doesn't solve the car's profile issues though, but nothing short of a longer wheelbase would fix that. Interesting that they redesigned the center console, I wonder if the original design got a lot of complaints? I like the inclusion of a handbrake and he smartphone holders, although it looks like it lost those storage cubbies either side of the console. -

Fabulous Flops: Chrysler 2.2L and 2.2L Turbo I
Intrepidation replied to Blake Noble's topic in Opinion
That implies every engine with a timing belt is a failure. Having actually owned several cars with these engines, two 2.2 N/As, one 2.5 N/A, and one 2.2T, timing belts were never a big deal, and of these 4, only the the 2.5 had head gasket issues. They were replaced twice, and its have valve cover gasket leaks several times. But then that engines was probably near 250k when the car was finally sent to the bone yard, due mainly to rust. Head gaskets or no, any engine from the 80's that can make it to 200k is pretty damn impressive. Of course I disagreed with this article from the beginning anyway. The 2.2/2.5 engines, put in millions of vehicles were hardly "flops". I mean if we want to talk chock up leaky gaskets and seals to flops, then the 350 is an enormous flop, and so are the Subaru 2.5s, or the Volkswagen 2.0s with the timing tensioners that like to fail without warning in an interference engine. There's also the Toyota V6s that had a nasty habit of sludging up, the 2.7s which can suffer catastrophic engine failure, and that 4.0 in your jeep which just loves to go through valve cover gaskets, and don't forget about the RENIX fuel injection system on the older ones. But none of those are flops because millions were made and many are still going. flop (flp) v. flopped, flop·ping, flops v.intr. 1. Informal To fail utterly: None of the above mentioned fall under that definition. Now the 8-6-4, that was a colossal flop. -
Just don't let the unibody rip.
