  1. i love that era of GM dashboards.....lots of rectangular or square buttons ...so many operative choices!
  2. No, the column shifter is still available and will probably be the most shipped. some of the truck consoles are out of control. Uprated turbo 4 really intrigues me.
  3. whats crazy. spouse works in the building across the road in this picture (with the half round entry feature). sort of crazy to be fortunate enough that we work less then a mile apart......except of course during this covid she is working from home fully. how often does your S.O.'s work office end up less than a mile from yours....
  4. GM COULDN'T RESIST PUTTING IN A CLASSIC BLOCKY LOOKING T-BAR SHIFTER!!!!! ALBEIT a very techy looking one. they purposely make the first version of the new body sort of ugly, it sets them up to make several mid cycle revisions, and can stretch the platform out FOREVER while having the chance to redesign the grill like 5 times. they will finally get it right in about 2032. Why is the Suburban's new dashboard now suddenly behind the design curve to this now.......makes no sense. Suburban could have used this dash design with the big new screen.
  5. Many new articles on the new 2022 Silverado. Google or Bing or DDG away and enjoy. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a37517085/2022-chevy-silverado-1500-revealed/ https://www.forbes.com/wheels/news/2022-chevrolet-silverado/ https://www.musclecarsandtrucks.com/2022-chevrolet-silverado-1500-engines-2-7l-l3b-turbo-upgraded-to-420-lb-ft-of-torque/ https://thenewswheel.com/more-2022-silverado-trims-get-standard-turbo-engine/ https://www.motortrend.com/news/gm-super-cruise-2022-chevy-silverado-1500/ a new ZR-2. New big 13.4 inch screen, new interior. SuperCruise on High Country. Turbo 4 now uprated to 420 lb.-ft. of torque. sweet new grille. meatflaps mostly gone. check out the console shifter!
  6. BINGO! i was going to say this Lucid is just a stolen GM design idea. And i was thinking Olds also.
  7. So today is officially 2 year carversary. shall I sing it a song and get it a cake?
  8. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9982253/Charging-points-electric-cars-preset-turn-NINE-HOURS-day.html Charging points for electric cars will be preset to turn off for NINE HOURS a day amid fears they will cause blackouts if government hits target for phasing out petrol and diesel
  9. A BEV equinox would be a good seller but a blazer size one would be that much more useful. WHOS GONNA BE RESERVING A CADILLAC LYRIQUE THIS WEEKEND
  10. I was mainly just poking fun at the large plastic bezel on the malibu dash on the model where they give you the really smalL screen speaking of those Mercedes like interiors chrysler did it too
  11. Hold my beer
  12. https://www.thedrive.com/news/42377/the-2022-subaru-wrxs-base-infotainment-system-is-pretty-bad
  13. purchased. very glad, dealers have very few vehicles to sell nowadays!
  14. looks great! I do love the big boxy new grilles on the GMC's these days. Looks great here.
  15. coming up on 2 years in a couple weeks. I've literally only put about 14,000 miles on the car so far.
  16. turns out i have the RT-81, i had mistakenly wrote RT-82. the RT-81 has the belt under the platter.
  17. i really dig the Fluance turntables. Here is my RT-82. I really want to get an RT-85 EDITTTT i have an RT-81
  18. here is a picture of the interior design studio, working on laying out the unique 'circles cut into a plywood wall' dashboard layout design.
  19. definitely would change my value on electrics by eliminating the rare earth magnets. So this came out awhile back, why has there been little press on this. https://www.mahle.com/en/news-and-press/press-releases/mahle-develops-highly-efficient-magnet-free-electric-motor--82368
  20. haha, I never finished this review..... not really worth the time at this point, apart from my previous Envision 1.0 review. "pleasant but forgettable". that said, I do think if the price were lower people would like it due to this one with the optional 2.0. The nasty PLOOD on this vehicle makes it fail for me, in my book. I want to test drive a new version Envision one of these days and see if it has even a little personality.
  21. I sold at a dealership for a year and a half but it was not a major new brand so most of what I was forced to see was terrible close to trash used cars. the fun part about where I was it was a small satellite store to the main dealership stores; it was more like a mom and pop that unfortunately at times was subject to the rules of the Kremlin. Spent a lot of time just hanging out in the service bays shooting the breeze with the guys there; I think that's where I learned the most about what goes on at a dealership....lots of characters but many good people. It's kind of a 'nobody can win' environment; except for a very few who are good at making bonuses off others or other parts of the organization...or if you are part of the people that own the dealership.
  22. Vacationing in NC. Nice place! Found some classic wagon love while checking out the scenery. Buick even! id love a modern day interpretation of this.
  23. Twice now in the last couple weeks I’ve gone to park with TourX and a Cascada is right there next to me Last time though there was quite the milfoil cougar to go with it.
  24. 24' dubs on a work vehicle. seems inefficient and hardly prudent for contributing to reduced carbon footprint.
  25. Sure, if they can continue to write off trucks easily for those tax breaks like for farming I imagine they don't on some level care.
